"Let It Go" in 25 Languages c:

If you've been on my tumblr recently, other than seeing all of my Teen Wolf reblogs, you would notice that I am still in love with the movie Frozen because it is the cutest Disney movie since Tangled. ^^ Well yeah, because of this wonderful website (that sucks all of my time when I should be studying -__-"), I found out that Disney did a compilation video of the song, "Let It Go," in 25 different languages, and it's so freaking awesome!

Just watch it yourself and hear the amazingness!

Anyway, I thought that mentioning Frozen would be apt because I have school off today since it's going to be raining/sleeting/snowing later on today and tonight! :DDD

This just means that I have more time to study, lol. Hopefully my teachers will move their tests so that I won't have to take them all at the end of the week. :D

Mockingjay - Part 1 Poster Revealed!

They revealed the poster for Mockingjay - Part 1 a few days ago, and I am absolutely in love with it! I love how it basically stuck with the book's original cover but made it more badass by having the pin in flames. XD

November 21st can't come soon enough!

I should be studying... D:

Really, I have a test this Thursday and two on Friday, and I haven't really been paying attention in my classes, and I haven't read the chapters either... FML.

Actually, in Principles of Management, Marc and I have been watching Disney movies on his iPad in class, since our professor just goes over the slides that she'd already uploaded on Blackboard for us to study with. All she does is go over the slides and give a couple of anecdotes in class, and it's all very boring, and we always feel like sleeping on Tuesdays and Thursdays. That's why we're watching Disney movies on mute with subtitles, pretending that we're looking at the PowerPoint slides on Marc's iPad and occasionally taking notes.

I know, we're terrible people. I'm really not paying attention in that class, and now I need to take even more time to study for the test on Thursday. On the bright side, we finished watching Lilo & Stitch last week, which made me have feelings in the middle of class. D: I forgot about that one scene about family...

Marc and I were just like ;__; in the middle of class, lol.

Anyway, I found these pics the other day when I was procrastinating. I thought they were pretty accurate. XD But yeah, clearly the interwebs and Tumblr understands how I feel. :DDD

Gotta go try to finish reading chapter one of Management now! :P

Tumblr Pics 44

So much to do but no motivation... -__-"

But man I am tired! I didn't think I had work today, but Marc wanted me to go to the basketball game with him anyway since they were giving free t-shirts and pizza for students, so I agreed to go for a little while. When I got there, I found out that I was supposed to work today and on Saturday and that they really needed me since they were already one person short.

The thing about work is that I usually get a call from Joe to see if I was available to work the following week. But apparently Joe thought that he had already called me and confirmed my hours for this week, which never happened, which was why it was by luck that I talked to Tawanda, who was also working at the time, and checked my schedule today, lol.

But yeah, today was a big event. It was a blackout game, so the stands were practically pitch black, and there was so many people there! All of the seats were taken with a lot of people standing at the top level. Halftime was crazy, lol. No wonder they needed me working. :P

But yeah, I need to finish reading this chapter before I completely goof off. ^^

Mishearing lyrics always takes you by surprise

So I was driving home from work the other day listening to the radio. When the commercials came on, I switched to the rock station and came into the middle of a catchy song. I had never heard it before, but it had a strong beat and I liked it, so I used Shazam to find out the title and artist.

It was called "Porn Star Dancing" by My Darkest Days. Clearly, I wasn't paying attention to the lyrics that much since I completely misheard part of the chorus that said porn star dancing, lol. But yeah, after I learned the title, I definitely heard the chorus correctly.

Anyway, I just wanted to share that since I thought it was funny. Check out the song! Apparently, it came out three years ago, so you might have heard it already. :P

I'm screwed (until I get my act together)

It's been two weeks since this semester's started, and I've been acting like Winter Break has never ended. .__.

What I mean is that I've been so lazy that I haven't felt like studying or reading over any chapters for any of my classes or doing anything really, for most of my classes. I do the homework that I'm given a day before its due and keep on procrastinating on everything else, instead opting on watching tv shows and anime.

It's terrible. Netflix is enabling my addicting with its easy convenience, lol. Yesterday, I just finished watching the first season of Fairy Tale, which was 48 episodes long. I started it on Wednesday. -__-" It was so addicting though! Especially after you got past the first two or three episodes and started having character arcs.

And now I've found out that the anime already has four seasons out for a total of 175 episodes. I don't know if I can contain my addiction enough so that I don't spend all of my free time not marathoning the rest of the available seasons. -__-" My sense of self-control is so very weak at the moment; I already started watching season two last night...

This is not good because I have three big tests at the end of the month, covering a lot of material that I haven't even really payed that much attention to in class this whole time, so I'm screwed if I can't get my act together and start studying, like, right now. D:

It's just... I really hate lecture style classes. They're boring, and most of the time, I don't get half of what the professor's talking about because I'm too busy writing down notes off of the board. Even if some of my professors uploads the PowerPoints online, I still have to take notes or else I fall asleep in class, so either way, I'm not retaining much info.

Obviously, I should research and learn about different learning methods so that I will do better in those classes, but so far, besides recording the lectures and listening to them again later (which sounds equally sleepy and boring), I haven't found any other methods. And I'm too lazy to try to find another method since I'm supposed to be studying. :P

So yeah, I'm basically screwed until I can get my act together. :\

Shows I'm Currently Watching: Elementary, Supernatural, Teen Wolf, Sherlock & Fairy Tail

CURRENTLY WATCHING:

Elementary

This show never fails to entertain me with its cases. And Sherlock is growing so much, it's great watching him slowly change into a better person. Plus, even though the series is episodic, the reoccurring characters and relationships makes this season even better since I've grown attached to almost everyone.

Supernatural

I thought that I would finally be able to catch up to the latest episode this season over the break, but what with my laptop acting up every day, it was kind of impossible. I'm planning on finally catching up some time soon because there is no way that I will not continue watching this series. I basically spent all of last semester catching up with Supernatural; I am way too invested in this show and its self-sacrificing characters, lol.

Teen Wolf

The new season just started this month, and I am so excited at where it's heading! They've introduced some more female characters, and I'm loving them already! Kira and her crush is so cute, lol. Although, my friends and I are kind of confused about the plot since the director said that this season would involve the kitsune myth, and so far, we've only seen some Hispanic bad guys. The only thing Japanese introduced in the show is Kira and her dad. But yeah, this is Teen Wolf, nothing is answered until the very end. -__-"

Sherlock

I finally joined the bandwagon and started watching this show last weekend when I should have been doing homework. I think it was because of the crossover fics I've read that included Sherlock and my friends' recommendation that finally got me interested enough to start watching it. That, and I wanted to compare it to Elementary since everyone did the opposite when Elementary came out last year. It's pretty good. Sherlock is definitely different from the Sherlock in Elementary and some parts of the cases were easy to figure out, but there were so many shocking parts and bromance that I couldn't help but like it. I'm going to start season three as soon as I have more free time this weekend, lol.

Fairy Tale

I started watching this last night, and while the first few episodes were kind of silly and had a lot of explanations to help set up the plot, I'm really digging it. The characters are still kind of 2D, but I'm hoping that they'll flesh out more as we get to know them better. And the comedic moments and Natsu just crack me up; they're so silly! It's great.

DROPPING:

Dexter

I watched the first season over the break, and I really liked it, especially the last few episodes, but I can't bring myself to start the next season. I had a lot of time to marathon Dexter over the break, but I didn't; I watched a few episodes at night and skipped watching it for a few days before going starting watching it again, and I don't know. After I finished season one, I just didn't feel inclined to start season two, and I still haven't. It's been almost a month now, so I think I'm going to drop this show. Maybe I'll start watching it again some other time in the future.

I'll Be There has a sequel!

So I found out that there's a sequel to one of my favorite books, I'll Be There by Holly Goldberg Sloan! It's called Just Call My Name and it's coming out this year on August 5th! :D

I'm so excited that I haven't even finished reading the summary because I want the book to just surprise me, lol. I love the characters so much, you don't even understand.

And I'd complain about the covers not matching that well, but I'm one to talk. My copy of I'll Be There is an ARC with no cover design at all, lol. It wouldn't match anything.

I hope they don't change the cover design for this book though. I like it.
