round the cup

surprisingly, this week hasnt been as hectic as usual. i usually have alot of tests and stuff during the last 2 days of the week that i need to study for, but it's not as much as usual.

so yeah, i've got some more pictures and icons i wanted to post. and a little 2PM and DBSK news.

but first, on sunday, when my mom asked me and shelle to move the tray thingy full of pears inside the house (dont ask, i dont know why they were outside on the table either), shelle yelled when she saw a caterpillar on one of the handles.

it looked so weird! i've never seen a caterpillar that odd looking. when my mom saw it, she started yelling, too XP shelle had gotten a paper cup to move it out of the way so we could move the pears inside. after we were done with that, i started moving it around, trying to get it to go into the cup since all shelle did was put a cup on top of it. so yeah, then, the caterpillar was at the rim, going around in circles and i had to get at least a picture of that! but when i came downstairs with the camera, it stopped. =3=

The other day,a video was uploaded onto the net to show the former 2PM leader how much he really means to all his fans. Several Hottest members banded together and created this soothing and fairly impressive track titled "Waiting For You". Hopefully Jaebeom will see and hear this and realize how much his fans really support him.

and Hottests did a flash mob to 2PM's Again and Again. a flash mob is an act where a group of people suddenly get together, perform an unusual act, and then quickly disperse as if nothing happened.

check it out, it's so cool! i want to do something like this with my friends, but none of us can dance... XP

the message at the end says:
"The fans in Korea did flash mob for Jay, dancing to Again & Again.

First of all.... laugh, Jay, laugh at us!! Hahahah!

We support 2PM with all its 7 members: Jaebeom, Nichkhun, Junsu, Taecyeon, Wooyoung, Junho, Chansung. 7 = 1.

If the page views of this one is good, we might do Part 2 of flash mob =)"

and the other song from jae and micky's colors and melody single has been released on the interweb and it sounds AMAZING. it's called Shelter. jae composed the music with some help from junsu and micky and H.U.B. (no idea who he is) wrote the lyrics. it sounds so different from the usual music that jae does, i love it. this is gonna be an awesome single.

click here to read a short interview of what the song basically means.

and epik high just recently released their new album called [e]. it has 30 songs in all, 15 on one cd. they uploaded their
music video for Wannabe, and it's hilarious. it's actually a parody of a horror movie called The Host. i cant wait for the next one to come out.

and now, i will post up all of the other pics and icons that have been sitting on my desktop for who knows how long (i leave everything on my desktop so that i'll remember to post it up or whatever).

and now, a bajillion icons

i'm gonna go now :P

pink insects & other updates

this 11 year old boy found a pink grasshopper Seaton Marshes Local Nature Reserve a few days ago. i thought it was pretty cool. even tho pink is my least favorite color... :P

but on the article, it also showed some pics of other pink insects which looked really cool. i mean, look at this praying mantis!

jason thompson, the author of manga the complete guide is giving away 5 FREE manga away everyday starting today and ending a year from now. how awesome is that! go here, to find out why he's giving them away, and skim here to find out what to do to apply.

he even had to put manga in his kitchen cuz he ran out of space.

click here to see all of the manga he has.

and tokyopop had a contest on who had the most otaku room and this person got 2nd place with their impressive manga collection. i wish that i could afford half as much as they could :P

American soccer player Robert Findley dumps girls to TVXQ

The hallyu wave is spreading like wildfire... The last people that you would think to be on the Sports Illustrated website just made it!

Every month, the online magazine asks athletes questions in a section called "The Pop Culture Grid". Among the questions asked were things the athletes ate that morning, favorite reality show and another was whats their favorite breakup song. And for American soccer player Robert Findley, he liked to dump chicks to "Kiss the Baby Sky" by our favorite boys, Tohoshinki.

credit: allkpop
i find it funny, tho, since kiss the baby sky is a bright, happy song.

and stevie hoang made an english version of DBSK's "why did i fall in love with you". it's called "here we stand". check it out. i kept on hearing the japanese lyrics instead of the english ones throughout the song tho, cuz i'm just so used to it ^^"

and jaejoong and micky have finally released their single, colors ~melody and harmony~! they released the mv and it's so peaceful :D

and sakurako did a cover of it way before it was out. she did it as practice, so it's not as great as it could be, but i thought that it was really good. especially since she learned the lyrics from fancams. and there's eng trans, too! i didnt realize how uplifting and sweet it was until i read the lyrics :P

2,000 Mobilize at JYPE Building in a Silent Protest

On September 13th, Korean Hottests surrounded the JYP Entertainment building at Seoul GangNamGoo CheongDamDong under the occasion of a silent protest against 2PM Jaebeom's recent withdrawal from the 7-member group. 2,000 members from 64 of 2PM's websites rallied together for a total of 2 hours, waiting outside from 2PM (very clever) to 4PM with over 100 police officers present on stand-by.

Due to the large turn-out of fans causing a blockage in traffic, the initial time, which was set for four hours from 2PM until 6PM, was cut short. One of the fans’ representatives said, “We will have the fans go home and clean up the streets by 6PM.”

In particular, what caught people's attention the most was a poster that read "4 Years, 4 Days", which translates into:

Four years, the time it took to change him from Jay Park to Park JAEBEOM
Four days, the time it took to destroy his dream.
It was a simple, yet powerful message that the fans based their silent protest on.

They also made a clear statement that they would not "support a 2PM that has less than 7 members" and were spotted bearing fansigns that demanded the return of the fallen member.

"Jaebeom, come back"
"Jaebeom, are you watching?"
"PM 01:59", "7=1"
"We miss Jaebeom"
"I am looking for 2PM's leader Jaebeom"
"Give us our Jaebeom back"

One representative claimed:

Through this whole process, the company did not do anything to the team which they have trained. All the responsibilities were carried by Jaebeom. While the fans are hoping for official explanation and active solutions to the situation, JYP has looked away and fans are now angry at JYP. We are angry at what JYP showed us in this past week, and we are officially demanding JYP to return Jaebeom to 2PM.

This was the first collective action that was taken since Hottests from all over the world made their declaration of boycotting 2PM and all music released under JYP's name. There was a total of approximately 1,000 CDs that were piled outside the JYPE building that day.

The K-Hottests' protest demonstrated that silence is, in fact, golden, as they delivered a strong message to JYP Entertainment without any violence, words, or riots.

click the link, you've got to see the pictures. i didnt feel like saving them all and then having to post them on here to show you :P

actually, 2ONEDAY, 2PM AND 2AM's official international fanclub, has been doing alot of projects to support jay and try to help bring him back.

right now, they've got a project up to send a petition to JYPE for jay and a project called International Love for Jay where they're gonna make a video using pics of fans from all over the world with signs supporting jay and send it to the media (i'm guessing the korean media cuz they were talkin about how the korean HOTTESTS (their fan name) love our videos and stuff we've made for support.

right now, i havent had the chance to do either projects, but i'm hoping that i'll have time during the weekend ^^"

and this person, kyleden09 has already done a hilarious parody of it. so quick! but funny!

look at these pics they released!

it's kinda obvious that i'm really happy/excited about suju-m's comeback, but i cant help it. with all of the bad things happening to my favorite boy bands, i'm just so happy that suju hasnt gotten any bad luck yet.

and check out 2ONEDAY Apparel, their official online store. i love their buttons! i so want them all! jay's conspiracy shirt and khun's wink shirt are also epic XD and i also love the hottest headphone shirt since i've always wanted a shirt with headphones on it and purple's one of my favorite colors :P

anyways, gotta go.

i wander...

i wander what jay's feeling. i mean, with everything that he's going through. there are fans who saw him at the airport who commented that he cried when he saw his parents and kept on saying sorry.

you know, this is like one of those situations that fanfic writers create about how something bad happens to the band so they split up, but only way worse. this is real life and only one person is leaving and who knows when (or if) he'll ever come back.

how is he going to live? there are gonna still be fans who might (prolly) follow him around. and then there's the fact that most of the US doesnt even know that he's famous so how's the transition going to be like for him.

anyways, i was just thinking about that earlier.

but onto some brighter news, suju-m is making a comeback this month!

they're releasing a teaser on friday and releasing the mv, which has snsd's jessica starring in it, on the 14th.

and check this out, it seems that japanese netizens are afraid of korean netizens.

and f(x), the new girl band under SM finally debuted a week or two ago. here's their mv, i thought it was pretty good. amber really has gotten alot of fans for her androgynous looks.

and suju's gonna have their own new variety show! it's called 'Human Network Super Junior's Miracle' but it's only gonna have suju-t (minus heechul) members in it, so no donghae or kyuhyun. but that kinda makes sense since their comeback is so soon.

anyways, the 1st episode already aired, i hope that some group starts subbing it soon!

gotta go~

"This is a conspiracy!"

words said from the leadja himself, park jaebeom, altho he said them in idol army.

this makes me so sad. it's depressing and it makes me so mad at all of the anti's who blew this out of proportion and into a big deal when it really wasnt.

why? because anti's found some comments that he wrote on myspace YEARS AGO saying that he hated korea and that it was gay when he was a TRAINEE WHO JUST CAME TO THE STATES AND WAS PROBABLY FEELING ALIENATED SINCE HE DIDNT KNOW THE CULTURE NOR THE LANGUAGE. he's gone back to his hometown in seattle and is prolly not going back to korea for a while.

i was preparing myself on writing the whole details, but i just found out that CheonSa (a fanfic writer who's blog i stalk because of her awesome stories) has already posted a basic summery of what happened on her blog.

which i'm thankful for since it saves me time and i can just add some other stuff that i wanted to put in.

these are the comments from the celebrities she mentioned in her post. it just made things sadder and seem more final to me.

"My heart is hurting very much
My heart feels like it’s being torn apart because he is a dongseng that I love
Because I believe and love my dongseng I believe that he will return with a better appearance
Today my heart is hurting very much
Jaebeom, hyung will work harder so that when you return I can protect and hug you with a warmer embrace
Please return healthy………
I love you……………..

jo kwon:
The first song we practiced together..
We felt nervous and excited..

I always pray.
That it won't be such a hard journey..

I believe you will get stronger
because you're my brother.

Through the wind, fall came.
Out of nowhere, the fall scent has arrived....
The bright blue sky
It keeps making me cry.
Even the sky is making me cry
in the fall of 2009.

and here is an account posted on the internet says:
“JaeBum had an audition in a wine house called ‘ChinGuYa’ in north Seattle, and had gone to Korea when he was in high school. It was a difficult decision for him to go back to Korea. He was like a ‘banana’ (Asian on the outside, Americanised on the inside) who cannot speak much Korean.”

“Seattle is a city that is different from the other big cities. The community is very small there. Everyone knows everyone else there. And JaeBum’s friends there are like family to him. It must be a difficult time for him to left his family behind and to go to a place which he doesn’t even know anything about, and train as a trainee not knowing when is the end to this path.”

“So he would have the desire to go back to America badly. And for the Americans and locals there they do not use the word GAY by meaning. It is like a code word, but definitely harmless. It is a joke used by young people there.”

“In 2002 during the World Cup, JaeBum has come together with his friends and family at the church in Korea to support for Korea. He was like a real Korean who loves Korea. There is also Koreans in Korea who will say they hate Korea when times are hard for them, isn’t it. And are those people traitors? It is really sad that people label him that. Not talking about this from a point of a fan, but from a mother of a Korean child. I’m writing this for people who are supporting him in Seattle. This friend is just a ‘banana’ who can’t speak Korean well.”

i think that really explained why he said those things.

and see this to see another celebrity take jay's side on this matter. and this is coming from a celebrity who had just had attacks by anti's 2 months ago and can sympathize with jay.

and a netizen who started the whole conspiracy apologized. but dont you think it's a little too late?

there's this petition going around to help support 2PM, their goal was 10,000 signatures, but they've surpassed it already which is really good. but i'm not really sure if it'll make that big of a difference.

some pics of jay and all of the fans who were at the airport to see him off earlier today.

his final bow goodbye

and this is a vid that's been goin around to support jay and remind you of how much you love him

it totally made me laugh but at the same time, reminded me of what just happened :/

and it has finally been confirmed that both micky and jaejoong have gotten a tattoo that says the fan's new catchphrase of what's been goin on: always keep the faith

some other lighthearted news that i wanted to share was about what DBSK said on their japanese radio, bigeaststation, in answer to a question one of their fans asked. the question was: "Does Korea have gigolo clubs? If there are, who will be the famous one amongst TVXQ members?"

and the response was hilarious.

micky was the first to answer and he said: "For me, I think there will be two of them, yes, it has to be these two. We can call these two as 'S-Line' who are none other than JunSu and JaeJoong. JunSu is full of charisma and is very attractive, though his character is just so so... This is what I think. JaeJoong looks like a doll, is pretty, and is stylish."

you can read the rest about it here.

anyways, i need to go. it's almost time for me to go to bed and i havent done anything other than stalk the web after doing my homework -__-"
