100th POST! sleepovers, shopping adventures, Lady Legs, & AP encounters

that is one long title! :P but it basically sums up what i'm going to talk about. :3 in that order :P actually, there's alot of other stuff, too, but that would make the title even longer and that's too much of a hassle -__-"

alot happened this past week. actually, alot of stuff happened today, too. it's a good thing i finished writing my AP essay already, or else i wouldnt have any time to type this all up.

first of all, THIS IS MY 100TH POST! after 2 years, i have finally reached the big 100 XD
just wanted to say that. :D not my pic, but i really want to eat that cuppy cake XD

i had a sleepover last wednesday. krista came over and we hung out and watched stuff and all that jazz. i realized that all we do whenever we have sleepovers is that we watch stuff on my laptop upstairs in my room, go downstairs to eat, and go back upstairs to watch stuff and it goes on like that except that we talk about everything no matter what we're doing.

sometimes, when she brings movies over, we'll hang out in the living room to watch it and usually snack, which is like a combination of what we usually do! XD we're such lazy people.

krista works with her mom at a flower shop on some days, so she gets paid (i want a job, i'm just a last minute call babysitter, i'm not even sure if i'm getting paid for babysitting the last few times) on friday. so she wanted to go shopping to get some more pants and stuff, so she was coming back over on saturday to go shopping with shelle driving us.

i was talking with shelle on the phone on friday and her friend, tawanda, was there and i invited her to come along shopping with us, too. since she didnt have a car, she spent the night at our house for the whole weekend.

on saturday, krista came early around 10 in the morning (really early for her considering how she gets up around noon, but shelle had plans later on in the day so we had to do stuff early), but shelle and tawanda were still sleeping. we ended up leaving around 11.

we went to kohls and ross and then went to BAM for a bit to check out the manga. then we went to old navy cuz it was near it. we were tired by then and we still had to walk all the way back to the ross parking lot cuz we didnt bother driving over to the old navy parking lot since the walk wasnt long.

then we went to rue 21 near wally world cuz we had to refill the water tanks and get breakfast stuff and snacks for mommy. i saw some pretty awesome shirts that i wanted but thought would be too juvenile for me. i mean, i have alot of tees already with crazy stuff/sayings on them.

but i still wanted this shirt that had a dinosaur with a chain on it that said gangstasaurus. it was really cool. and this ninja penguin shirt, too. but i was broke so that kinda held me back XD

then we went to wally world. krista and i split up from shelle and tawanda cuz we needed to get our own stuff. we couldnt find them when we were finished and krista's phone was out of minutes, so we couldnt exactly call them either. so we spent half an hour walking around looking for them.

then we went home and i had finished downloading g-dragon's shine a light concert, so we watched that, cuz i knew that krista really liked g-dragon [but not as much as she likes TOP :P].

we watched some more stuff, and then she had to go home around 8:30.

oh yeah, i forgot to say that on wednesday night, sydney had called me to see if i could go to the movies the next day with her, maybe emily, and aliesha, since it was aliesha's birthday on saturday but thursday was the only day sydney would be free since she had a competition on saturday.

so i told her that krista was with me and she said that she could come too. they wanted to watch valentine's day but krista and i didnt want to watch it cuz it was a love story that looked stupid, but we couldnt watch any other good movie cuz they were rated-R, and emily's parents wouldnt let her watch it (they're way more protective than mine).

and aliesha wanted to watch valentine's day in the end anyways. since it was her birthday, i couldnt say no to the movie anyways, so i agreed to go watch it with them, but krista said that she didnt want to waste her money on a movie that she didnt want to watch and save it instead for saturday when we were going shopping, so she opped out. so on thursday, she left half an hour before sydney came and picked me up.

emily didnt come in the end cuz her parents said that she couldnt go out after 6 and she had to go visit some family or something anyways. so it was just the 3 of us.

i was right about valentine's day. it was not to my liking at all. plus, i was kinda sleepy and we came half an hour early so we had alot to kill time which made me even sleepier since it was dark and quiet and stuff.

i realized that i usually only watch action/adventure movies at the movie theaters. i dont really watch chickflicks cuz they're so stupid in my opinion.

during the movie, sydney and aliesha came up with this great plan to both stare at me whenever they thought that i was bored with the movie which was really retarded. i had no idea why they were doing that until way after we left.

we went to mcdonalds after the movie was over since it was around 6. i only ordered some fries since i knew that i'd want to eat dinner when i got home. then we went home after talking about stupid stuff :P
okay! now for what happened today!

during lunch, we saw this really built guy going to the lunch line that was right in front of our lunch table spot. he was pretty tall and his chest and arms were really big. and he wore a tight t-shirt which pretty much emphasized his muscles.

aliesha said that she had him in one of her classes last year, and sydney was talking about how tall he was and joking around saying that he and aliesha could go out (aliesha's really tall, so she likes guys to be taller than her) but aliesha ruined her parade saying that they're actually the around the same height.

and then, when he was paying for his lunch basically a few feet from us, aliesha said that she couldnt go out with a guy with better looking legs than her anyways. that comment immediately made us look at his legs (he was wearing shorts) and we had to agree.

the dood's on track so he even shaves his legs which made them look even better than ours! unlike his arms and chest, his legs were really skinny and stuff. we all admitted that he had better looking legs than ours.

and then we started thinking up nicknames for him cuz we had a nickname for sydney's guy, gabriel, which was churro cuz he's mexican (she had a crush on him in the beginning of the year and we still dont let it go even now when she says that she doesnt like him anymore), and this guy was now aliesha's guy.

in the end, we settled on Lady Legs which sounded hysterically accurate. and now i need to find an interestingly weird guy that we can make a nickname for. -__-"

i typed in lady legs in google images and that was one of the first images that popped up XD

then, just after school, sydney caught me at my locker and borrowed my chem book and told me to tell aliesha that she had to leave early (which is why she took my book cuz she didnt have time to go to her locker). so after i was done getting my books, i went over to ledarren's locker where we usually hangout for a bit after school.

after i told aliesha sydney's message, i told aliesha about how right as i was leaving chem, my last class for the day, i saw lady legs walk out of the classroom right across from mine! and i couldnt help but laugh at the irony of it all.

then we had to tell ledarren about him and his newfound nickname.

so then, we were walking outside on aliesha's shortcut-that's-really-a-longcut to the bustop. there are 2 trees on the way which were full of buds that arent yet ready to bloom that ledarren likes taking and throwing at people.

so he threw some at me cuz he's kinda scared of aliesha and i chased him for a bit, but he was way faster than me and i had my AP book in my bag which made things heavier, so i quit pretty easily.

we had continued walking until ledarren went up to the 2nd tree to get some more buds when aliesha dropped all of her bags and started chasing him. it was hilarious.

and then, he was swerving so he was going to my direction so i decided to run up to him to trip him or something, but we were on the road part away from the grass and there were small rocks and stuff all on it, and he slipped on them trying to stop so he fell, and i couldnt get out of the way fast enough, so his legs tripped me and i fell on top of his legs.

my palm got scraped a little, but that was about it. either way, it was really funny. :D i couldnt stop staring at my palm the whole way we were rushing to the bus cuz aliesha was really late for her bus now.

and i found emily waiting for her bus after aliesha zoomed by her to get on her bus, and told her what happened. and found out that my palm was bleeding internally.

thought that this once was also hilarious. they're both statues!

and then, just a couple of hours ago, we had AP night at school in the lunchroom which was basically telling us about what AP classes were available and we could go to the teachers and talk about their classes after the powerpoint (parents are supposed to come, but mommy had to stay home to watch brian and stuff so i went alone).

i met emily and her mom while going in the school and then met rachael when we got in the lunchroom. she and her mom told us that there were tables with papers about the courses in the other lunchroom, so emily and i went over there to check out all the stuff. i took all of the papers that i went to except for AP calc and chemistry and physics, cuz i knew that i either wouldnt take it for another year, or could not stand a chance in it.

and then they got to the powerpoint, so i went back and sat next to rachael which was right at the end of the table and nearest to the speakers and powerpoint. i had to turn my body around to see the whole thing. it was kinda uncomfortable. :P

then i went walking around with rachael. we talked to the AP environmental science teacher first. i want to take it, because it sounds cool and madison said that he's an awesome teacher (i think she said that about him, i'm not sure anymore), but i'm not sure now cuz i also wanted to take AP biology cuz i'm good in that, but it doesnt have anything to do with computers, which is what i think i want to do for my future, and i dont have alot of open classes/electives for me to do, so i have to think everything all out and choose wisely.

which is why i'm gonna do it after i finish this post or tomorrow. :P

we walked around, talked to emily and other people. spoke to mike for a bit.

in the end, i was with emma who was trying to escape her mom (dont ask me why) who led me over to sheena and mike and then eventually disappeared with her mom. which left me with mike and his girlfriend and mom and sheena and her sister with kelly a little bit further away talking about an AP class.

somehow, sheena found out that i was also viet so we introduced ourselves (i kinda remember meeting her through thao one time but i guess she doesnt remember me) and talked for a bit.

then mike's mom said hi to me and asked about where my parents were and she stopped and told mike that i was all grown up going to the AP thing by myself. and sheena started talking in viet to her saying that she had to come alone with her little sis, too in viet (she came here in the 3rd grade, but her english sounds really good. i can only hear a little accent).

and then they started having a conversation all in viet only having mike interrupt at times when his mom was making fun of him and stuff. it was really funny.

soon, it was already 7:30 and mommy said that she'd pick me up in the back at that time since that's when the paper said that it ended at, but i stayed behind to talk to sheena some more after mike and his mom left.

we talked about debate for a bit. sheena said that she joined a few months ago, but she's never gone to a competition yet and mr. cavenaugh said that the season's over so we'd have to join again next year anyways. i told her that she should join impromptu speech like me cuz it's alot less stress (at least in my opinion of what i gathered the debaters do) and fun to do. so we talked about that; i explained to her how the competitions went (from my one competition anyways -__-").

and then we were talking about our older siblings and younger siblings. her brother goes to macon state right now, but he plans to follow her to UGA after she graduates (i was planning on going to UGA if i didnt know any other college to go to!). and her younger sister who was so quiet and shy while we were surrounded by people in the lunchroom just minutes ago, was kinda mean and stuff to sheena when we were alone (we left the lunchroom and were in the middle of the main hallway).

but it was almost 8 and i had to go home and take a shower and stuff. so we said goodbye and i had to go tell mommy why i left so late :P

oh yeah, before i forget. over the break, i read Dragon Sword and Wind Child by Noriko Ogiwara and all four volumes of the manga Cherry Juice by Haruka Fukushima. and yesterday, i read the manga Othello by Toui Hasumi.

Dragon Sword and Wind Child was really good. definitely different from other fantasy stories [maybe cuz it's from a japanese auther who wrote it over a decade ago :P]. i cant believe it's in the juvenile category but at the same time, i can cuz it's so easy to read and nothing extremely graphic is in it.

Cherry Juice was pretty good for a short shojo series. the art was good [it's what got my attention in the first place]. the plot was predictable but it was really cute.

and Othello was okay. it was full of oneshots. the art was also good [also drew my attention; cant help that i'm shallow when it comes to most manga :P]. nothing really stood out to me, tho.

and yeah, i think that's about it.

i'll talk to you later then. :)

it snowed!

well, on friday it did :D

turns out that it snowed in 49 states! only hawaii didnt have any.

at first, it was just slushy snow. it was basically raining but it was cold enough to turn the rain to ice. there wasnt much.

it started when i was over at my cousin's house babysitting them for a couple of hours. and then i got to go home cuz my uncle came home.

i fell asleep cuz i was really tired, so i missed the rest of the snow/rain. cuz when i woke up, it was pitch black and i think it didnt snow anymore.

but the next morning, there was alot more snow!

we had made plans to go over to 2nd daddy's place for new years eve (this years new years was on valentine's day) for lunch/dinner. but before we left to go around 1-2, shelle and i made a mini snowman at first, and then built a big one right before we left (she did most of the work for both of them :P).

cuz our little cousins were there, too, but none of them helped us with the snowman which was pretty ironic since they were the younger kids (arent kids the ones who want to play in the snow the most?) but the older kids were the only ones who were excited building the snowman.

but i think it might have been the fact that shelle told them to get out of the snow cuz they were stomping all over the place, giving us less snow to build with. so they just stood there, in a line, watching us.

i gave him a squidward nose and we didnt have time to find arms for him or a hat, so we left him bald and used our cousins arms. :P

i didnt realize that there was something on the camera until hours later when it was at night when shelle was looking through them on her laptop. i never saw the smug on the camera, but then again, i didnt have time to look through them properly since we were rushing.

we put the mini snowman near a little tree. it looked really cute :3

but i did make a little snowman earlier on the table in the backyard :D no details on it tho.

what sucked about this weekend tho, was that our grandparents asked us a couple of weeks ago if we could come visit them for new years; our grandpa even told us that there was going to be a festival that we could go to (i havent been to one since i was a kid!).

so we asked our parents if we could and daddy was all, "maybe if i'm not busy." they kept on saying no whenever i told them that shelle could drive the two of us up there if he was too busy, cuz she's done it before (albeit at the last minute without giving them time to say no -__-"), because it's too dangerous and stuff.

they NEVER let her drive anywhere far away.

so instead, shelle, brian, and i went to go watch the new percy jackson movie which was good. it was funny, but there were a few plot holes and stuff which makes sense cuz it's a movie adaption of a book where reviewers said that the movie skipped alot of scenes in the book like harry potter.

i've been meaning to read the book before i watched the movie, but all of my friends who have a copy of it, couldnt find it or didnt have it at their house. so yeah. but i guess i'm glad that i didnt read the book first cuz the movie prolly would of been a disappointment like most reviewers said since they already knew what would happen and what was left out.

speaking of movie adaptions, i found out that shiver is going to be made into a movie! the movie company bought the rights to all 3 books in the trilogy!

i'm definitely looking forward to this movie since there are alot of wolves in the book. :D like i say to all movie adaptions: i just hope that they do the book justice. get a good cast and storyline and all that good stuff :P

i forgot to mention this a while ago, i found this site that sells these sushi plushes which are absolutely ADORABLE. i so want one!

you can order them here.

i finished reading Need by Carrie Jones and Gamer Girl by Mari Mancusi yesterday.

Need was pretty good. it was interesting cuz the main character knows a bunch of phobias and the chapter titles are named after a phobia. i learned alot of weird phobias, like couplogagophobia - fear of being the third wheel and agateophobia - fear of insanity, from it.

i feel bad for kids who have didaskaleinophobia cuz they're afraid of school. but they could always be home schooled, right?

i had already read some reviews about Gamer Girl all saying that it wasnt that good (cliched and stereotypical), but i still decided to check it out cuz of the plot was about a girl who liked drawing manga and played an online role-playing game.

yeah, the reviews were right; the antagonists were 2D (actually, most of them kinda were) and i knew the ending almost as soon as i started reading it. it was more of a juvenile book, not a young adult, which was how i sped through it in a little more than 3 hours.

and now i started reading Willow by Julia Hoban while babysitting my cousins for a few hours earlier this morning. it's much better than Gamer Girl. it has alot more depth and i like the characters waayyy more than Gamer Girl.

now for some fangirling and other random stuff. :D

i love the one day boys. wooyoung looks hot with that hat on at the bottom right. and khun and kwon look adorable.

big bang was modeling/doing a commercial for a clothing line. they looked adorkable.

and check out this ginormous gummy bear.

it doesnt look that appetizing to me... :P

these two are too cute.

and heechul is so weird. he never fails to make me laugh. i cant believe that he's 11 years older than sulli tho. o_O

oh yeah, forgot to mention, krista's coming over tomorrow. she's staying the night. and then, we're hoping that she'll be able to stay the night on friday so we can go shopping cuz she needs some pants :P and she gets paid by then (she works at her mom's flower shop 3 times a week, i didnt find out about that until yesterday).

and now i need to go and clean my room. it's all dusty and my desk is messier than ever :P

bai bai~

unexpected furlough day tomorrow!

which means that i dont have to go to school! which is great cuz i already have all of next week off since it's winter break. so i get an extra day off!

but yeah, this was unexpected. all day, there were rumors that we didnt have to go to school tomorrow because the weather reports said that it was going to snow. but it was most likely going to snow around 4 in the afternoon, so most teachers said that there was a very small chance that we'd be out (ha! take that mr. grange with your 99.9 chance that we'll have go to school on friday! XP).

there were also rumors that even if it didnt snow, we'd still get out because tomorrow was going to be a furlough day. personally, i didnt believe the rumors either because i thought that teachers would get an announcement days in advance about a furlough day.

but i guess that i was wrong. either way, i'm not disappointed XD

sydney called me right when i was about to eat dinner and told me that we didnt have to go to school tomorrow since it said so in the news. so i went online to check for myself, and there it was: "In Houston County, all schools and supporting offices will be closed..."

and the emergency meeting that was called after school for the administrators was to tell them about that. i heard the announcement cuz i was at the latin party at the time.

we started watching the princess bride. i thought that i had seen it before, most likely in my childhood, but i guess not since i didnt remember any of the scenes that i saw before i had to go home.

but i couldnt take it seriously as soon as i heard the characters' names. princess buttercup? dickenflip or something like that? noooope, i couldnt take it seriously at all.

and we just got a phone call from the school saying that school is closed tomorrow. :D and there i was, just finishing up the homework that i could do.

but i'm still gonna go to the school sometime in the afternoon tomorrow cuz mr. jenerette told my class that IF we didnt have to go to school tomorrow, we'd still have to stop by to get our homework and outline stuff (over every break, he gives us a take-home quiz on the next chapter we're on to do).

when i told sydney over the phone about that, she said that it's not possible cuz the news said that all staff and students didnt need to go to school, so i'm not sure if he'll even be there.

but either way, i need to go to the library since 5 of the books i put on hold finally came today. so i'm gonna ask mommy to take me there after i check the school.

i'm still not sure if this is a furlough day or not...

onto another subject, i finished reading The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong and The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan last week, and i just finished reading Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater today during Lit (sometimes my laziness surprises me. i dont know why i dont bother capitalizing everything that needs it -__-")

The Summoning was good, but not that great in my opinion. i mean, i'd still like to read the next volume, but i'm not dying to get my hands on a copy, you know? i think it's mainly from the fact that it took almost the whole book to wrap her mind around the fact that she's a necromancer.

i didnt really like The Forest of Hands and Teeth. mary, the main character, got on my nerves most of the time. it's like what cass and jed (or it was travis who said it) told her, she's selfish. she's putting everyone's lives in danger because of her selfish desire to see the ocean. 2 people (who loved her very much) DIED for her stupid wish to see the ocean (it's set in an apocalyptic world where there's zombies turning or killing everyone left).

and i guess what else turned me off was the style the book was written in. it definitely wasnt one that i was used to reading, so that might have been one reason why i didnt like it as much.

but yeah, i tryed to read that book during the summer after i had just finished reading Graceling (which was amazing), but it couldnt compare to Graceling, so i gave up on it after a couple of chapters.

it was only because i was looking around on amazon that i found it again and read the great reviews of the book that made me pick it up again. it was good, i admit, but not something i'd re-read again (not like i have time for that anymore -__-).

and now for Shiver. what first got my attention was it's cover. it looked very pretty.

i didnt even notice the wolf in the corner until i held the book in my hand :P actually, the book looks better in person than online. the trees are metallic-ish so they shimmer and the whole book looks very nice. :D

the story was pretty good, too. i liked it much better than the other 2 books i mentioned above. but the story kind of reminded me of twilight except, instead of vampires, it was about werewolves instead.

the plots arent the same at all except for the main characters being madly in love with each other. it's just that Sam reminded me of Edward since he was always so careful with Grace. he wanted to take things slow and do things the right way and stuff.

but he's totally different from edward other than that. he's a singer/songwriter, really sensitive, and really fragile. and totally in love with Grace. :P

i saw the cover for the next book (i think it's going to be a trilogy, not really sure) and it looks really good, too. i think i like Shiver better, tho, cuz blue's my favorite color XP

another book i'm waiting for is Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins. it's the 3rd and last book of the Hunger Games trilogy. the cover looks really good, too! it's coming out in august, i cant wait!

i just found out that The Hunger Games is being made into a movie! check it out!

Lionsgate Entertainment has acquired worldwide distribution rights to a film adaptation of The Hunger Games, which will be produced by Nina Jacobson's Color Force production company. Suzanne Collins, the author of the novel, will also be the screenwriter.

the author is also going to be the screenwriter! that means that the script wont be botched up! now i'm really excited about this movie. :D i hope that the directer chooses a good cast and has good special effects.

and i just remembered this! i know someone else in school who knows about DBSK and KPOP! her name's shanice, she's in my grade. i met her near the end of last year from ondriona. we didnt really talk to each other much, tho, since we didnt have any classes together and stuff.

but she's been sitting with me and my friends at lunch lately, so she's considered part of the group already. i found out about her interest in kpop after school last week when ladarren would only speak in japanese (he lived in japan for 10 years, of course he's fluent :P). it was driving sydney crazy cuz she didnt know what he was saying, so when she saw shanice, she called her over to translate for us (she's half japanese).

she's not fluent since her mom never bothered teaching her, but she knew what he was saying and could ask him back some, too. somehow, after i finally got him to say something in english (he corrected me, he spent 10 years in japan, not 8 :P), she mentioned that alot of japanese listened to korean music in japan (she lived in japan for 4 years during elementary school).

so i asked her if she knew DBSK and she said yeah. and we started talking about other bands (big bang introduced her to kpop) and recent news about them all (hangeng wanting to leave SUJU, DBSK maybe breaking up, jay leaving 2PM) while sydney and ladarren talked/argued about something.

we didnt get to talk much, tho, since a teacher came down the hall yelling at everyone in the hall to go home. but yeah, it's awesome to know that i have another person to talk about kpop to. :3

and that's it for today/tonight :P

laters~

some books turned movies

this is just gonna be a quick update cuz i have alot of [school-related] stuff i still need to do. like study for my math test re-take that i bombed last week (made a 57, i think that's the lowest grade i've ever made ;_;) and study for the math quiz on that same day, too.

and work on my latin project due next friday. thankfully, magistra's letting us work with a partner or in groups of 3. ashliegh and i decided to work together since there's less work between 2 people. ashliegh said that she'd do the pamplet thinger, so i have to get most of the info which is fine by me, except that you know, i'm REALLY lazy and i dont feel like doing it. =__=" i was supposed to give her the info by today, but i never got her email, so yeah... i'm gonna go do it after i'm done with this post. :P

and i also have to study for half of my classes. i have a test in AP world history on thursday, and a test in chem and lit on friday. i really need to do well on the chem test, too, since i've only been making 70's on the quizzes and tests he's given us since the start of this semester.

2nd semesters are always harder than the first. i dont like it :|

anyways, the main reason why i wanted to do a quick post was because i just found out that one of the series i've been reading is being made into a movie!

actually, 2 book series that i've read a while ago are being made into movies. one is I'd Tell You I Love You But I'd Have to Kill You by Ally Carter and the other one is Uglies by Scott Westerfield.

i found out about the uglies movie last week, but i totally forgot about it. it said that it'll be released sometime in 2011, so it's gonna take a while before it comes out anyways.

and i just found out that i'd tell you i love you was being made into a movie. it's in the very beginning stage (both are, i think) tho; no actors or anything confirmed yet. it's coming out in 2012 [the world's gonna end by that time! :P].

but yeah, i thought that was interesting. i just hope that the movies dont turn out like how the twilight movie did. i dont even want to start. i just hope that the characters get casted well and the acting and special effects are good.

anyways, i just finished reading the 3rd and latest volume of the gallagher girls (i'd tell you i love you... and the others) series today. it was really good. i cant wait for the next one to come out. i think it's coming out in june, but knowing me, i'll prolly buy it in 6 or 7 months after it comes out like i did with the rest of the series.

i like the series cuz it's about a girl spy school and it's really addicting with the action and mystery and everything going on. with just a little bit of romance that makes your inner girl squeal :P

something else i'm also anticipating is this new anime called Black Rock Shooter. i saw a promo video and it looked really awesome. the art's so cool, and the girls look tough and kickass. i think it's coming out in spring this year.

look at this enlarge, it's GINORMOUS! and very detailed :D i wonder why one eye's blazing?

so yeah, that's it!

wait, i forgot that i wanted to write this down. okay, so sydney's been working on this science fair project for a couple of months now (had to do with growing plants) and today was the day to turn the projects in. at lunch, she asked us if we knew where the air force thinger was cuz that was where they were setting up the projects and stuff (it's an all-ages county science fair) cuz she didnt know the way.

aliesha did, i wasnt so sure ^^" but, in the end, sydney found out that she did know the way since she used to pass it all the time going to her grandma's house -_- but yeah, we all went to help her set up and stuff.

tomorrow was the 1st day for try-outs for le mis, the upcoming school play, and both aliesha and sydney wanted to do the tryouts, not really caring if they got a part or not.

it's a musical, and sydney still hadnt found a song to sing, so aliesha was playing a whole bunch of songs from her ipod for her to choose from and singing and dancing along to it the whole car ride there.

it turned out that i had the wrong location anyways. where i thought it was, was the air force base, not where ever we were at. :P but yeah, just looking at the people leaving and going to the parking lot, we saw alot of younger kids with tri-folds.

inside, there were specific tables for whatever type of project you did with papers with participants' names taped to the tables. all around, you could see air force stuff like planes and stuff on the walls upstairs.

there were alot of posters and alot of different categories. we went to the plant science one to find sydney's place to put her tri-fold up, and then went around looking at the other posters.

some were really cool looking and colorful and eye-catching. i saw alot of elementary and middle schoolers with their parents helping them put their project up. jeez, i felt like an under achiever when i looked at some of them and saw what grades they were in.

i actually found my orthodontist's daughter's work. at least, i'm assuming it's her's since her last name was Pool just like his, and her project was about teeth. in her pictures were real decayed teeth and stuff, so i'm guessing that her dad helped with that.

but yeah, it was pretty fun, just going around and looking at all of the pretty posters and joking around. some of the people's projects' were really unique. i mean, i never would of thought of questioning some things like some of they did.

it looked pretty cool. i'm thinking about doing a project with sydney next year if i'm not too busy and lazy to do all of that work. :P

the ride back home was also hilarious. sydney attempting to do high notes and aliesha's reaction is really funny :D

that's it for now :P

i'll see ya later~
