My Plans for Fall Break

Since I've been into making lists lately, I figured I might as well make a list of what I'm planning to do over the break! :D

My Plans for Fall Break:
  • do good on the SAT tomorrow [not likely :P]
  • eat at Steak & Shake afterwards :D
  • fill out college applications
  • fill out scholarship applications
  • email remaining Assassin players
  • meet up with group to work on Heart of Darkness template next Wednesday
  • go to the fair next Sunday
  • participate in the Flash Mob at the fair if it's still on
  • hopefully go to Athens with friends
  • go to La' Berry with Shanice if it's finally open & and the cupcake store!
  • watch Lion King 3D with Monica
  • hang out with Jeffy and Emily
  • plan a day where everyone comes over to help Mia and I do our bubble pictures
  • call Krista and plan a day to hang out together [prolly end up with a sleepover]
  • go to Gottwals and sell some old books that I don't want
  • practice driving in the morning like the 'rents want me to
  • vacuum room
  • go to the bank
  • rewrite my Their Eyes Were Watching God essay using the Chunk Theory
  • write a poetry response
  • watch Xmen: First Class and Chuseok specials
  • finish reading Firebirds, Nodame Cantabile, and Beautiful Creatures
  • finish watching Dream High and Robin Hood season 2
  • read the rest of my Percy Jackson series books that I own
  • read at least 2 other books
  • and SLEEP

And since nothing I plan ever actually happens, let's see wait and see what I really manage to accomplish by the end of the break! :P

I figured that I'd just cross out the stuff that I actually manage to do on here and make another post at the end of the break that lists everything that I actually did over the break to compare and see if I actually follow through on my lists.

Anyway, later~

Tumblr Pics 15

GUH. COULDN'T SLEEP LAST NIGHT, SO I WENT TO BED AROUND 2 THIS MORNING. MY BRAIN FEELS FRIED.

I CAN'T WAIT FOR SATURDAY TO BE OVER ALREADY.

Normally, I'd be excited for Friday to be over, but I have the SAT's this Saturday, so I have to get up extra early yet another day, and write yet another essay [I'm so tired of writing essays and paragraphs because of AP Lit, you don't even know] and take stupid little tests for hours.

I can't wait for afterwards, though. Emily, Shanice and I are going to Steak & Shake for lunch! We're going to meet up with Jackie there, too. :) Can't wait since I've only ate there once, and that was after last year's Bearstock, and all I ate were cheese fries (which were really yummy ^^). I so want to try their Portobello 'n Swiss burger! Thank you random coupon ads in the mail! XD

And after the SAT's, my Fall Break officially begins! A whole week and the next Monday off to live in my hermit cave and finally catch up on my reading and other stuff that's been piling up.

Now I have to write my Tech Article and Poetry Response. Maybe after a nap. I'm tired. :P

Anyway, enjoy!

:)

Quick [Random] Thought #1

Is it just me, or does having actual conversations on the phone end up being kind of really awkward?

I mean, of course there are a few exceptions, like Krista and Michelle, but sometimes even with them, there are moments when the conversation lulls and things start to get awkward...

Lol, later guys!

Top Ten Tuesdays: Books I Want To Reread

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by the Broke and Bookish.

So, this is a meme that I've been wanting to do for a while, but never really had the time to do. I still don't have time, but I'm going to do the topics that interests me. :) Too bad, I couldn't do last week's topic, though...

It was really easy picking this week's books since I had already looked through my favorite books because of my AP Lit project that I was working on last week. Just flipping through a few pages made me want to stop everything and start reading the book again. It was really hard. :P

In no particular order, these are the top ten books that I really want to reread:

1. Blood Red Road by Moira Young Such an awesome book! The suspense, the action, the romance, the characters, the writing, everything. It's just that great. I CAN'T FLIPPIN WAIT FOR THE SEQUEL. I will most likely have reread Blood Red Road once or twice again before the sequel is released. :P

2. Tomorrow, When the War Began by John Marsden Again, a really awesome book! The characters, the premise, the action and suspense, the writing... again, everything. I would have already bought and devoured the rest of the series if my TBR pile wasn't so gigantic.

3. The Year of Secret Assignments by Jaclyn Moriarty I've loved this book since I read it in the 6th grade. My copy is pretty worn out because of all of the lending I've done with it over the years. And every person who's borrowed it from me has always ended up at least liking it. :)

4. I'll Be There by Holly Goldberg Sloan Guh. This book was epically amazing. I think it's my all-time favorite contemporary book so far. I mean, the book is amazing. Amazing characters (well, besides the bad guys), amazing writing, amazing plot, and amazing message. I also really like the fact that I'll Be There is a favorite song of mine by Taeyang. :D

5. Graceling by Kristin Cashore I love everything about this book. Probably my all-time favorite fantasy book ever. Katsa and Po are amazing characters. I wished that the sequel included them in it. :(

6. Little Brother by Cory Doctorow I love this so much! I read this book before 1984, so I never knew how much foreshadowing there was just in Marcus's screenname, "w1n5t0n", and the role that he would play in the book. I definitely want to reread this book because I loved it, and to see if there are any more 1984 allusions.

7. Drums, Girls, & Dangerous Pie by Jordan Sonnenblick This book. Just so emotional near the climax. My eyes started watering. I think that was the first book that ever made me really feel so much for its characters. Also, I recently bought a copy of the book's sequel (or is it a companion?), so I think I'll find time to reread this book first before diving into After Ever After.

8. Where She Went by Gayle Forman My reasoning is because I've already read If I Stay twice, so I have to read this one again. :P That, and because I really fell in love with Adam in this one. So much emotion in here, too!

9. The Cry of Icemark by Stuart Hill Another book that I really loved this book in the 6th grade. Epic fantasy at its best. If you love books that have wars that have countries allied with mythological creatures, this book is meant for you. :)

10. Bloomability by Sharon Creech Also another book that I absolutely loved in the 6th grade. I'm really glad that my sister told me to read it. The characters, the setting, the writing, the dialogue -- all amazing. Loved, loved, loved Guthrie. XD

This basically turned into a post mainly concerning some of my all-time favorite books, lol. -__-" But those are the books that I will always be eager to read again and again no matter how many times I've already read them. :D

Cover Lover 10

I'M.. STILL... SO... TIRED! D: I'll never regain all those hours of sleep I lost last week. ;__;

Griping aside, enjoy!

Friday, September 23, 2011

I NEED SLEEP. SO MUCH.

I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW I SURVIVED TODAY, RUNNING ON ONLY ONE AND A HALF HOURS OF SLEEP.

Because of stupid AP Lit, I had a project, poetry response, and syntax paragraph all due today, which meant that I basically spend the whole night working on the project cuz I'm an OVER-ACHIEVER WHO DOESN'T VALUE HER SLEEP. (Watch me make only an 80 on the project, too ;__;)

The paragraph didn't take long to write, and neither did the poetry response since I had already started writing both of them at school earlier yesterday, but the project was to find examples of a whole bunch of different syntax devices and writing 2-3 sentences on how the sentence/device supported the book, and that took friggin forever to do, especially when it's 2 AM and your brain is mush.

Actually, after 2 AM, I stopped feeling tired; I was just working on auto-pilot by that time. I was so tired that I wasn't tired. Unfortunately, I still couldn't think that straight, lol. But yeah, I finished the project around 4:30 and spent the next half hour typing up my paragraph and poetry response. I hope I revised them well enough. :P

So I finally went to bed around 5 this morning, only to wake up an hour later, which was half an hour earlier than when my alarm went off. And I don't even know WHY I woke up so early. Every time I tried to go back to sleep, my fingers would start tingling whenever I thought about anything other than trying to fall back asleep. It was so weird...

But yeah, I drank half of my can of Full Throttle last night and finished it off this morning. Not entirely sure if it helped, although I really had to use the bathroom by 2nd period, lol.

Did I mention that I had a calc test this morning? We had part one yesterday, which was no calculator, and today we could use our calculators. I totally forgot how to do two problems and had no idea on what one part of a question was asking. I'm just hoping to get a B now. :\

And then we had another essay to write in class in AP Lit. I FRIGGIN HATE THAT CLASS RIGHT NOW. IF I HAVE TO WRITE ANOTHER ESSAY, IT WILL PROLLY BE STRAIGHT SHIT.

I just woke up from a nap 20 minutes ago. I'm still tired. :(

On the bright side, my parents have left to go to FL for the weekend, leaving my bro and I home alone, with Shelle coming home (maybe) tomorrow, and I don't have to babysit. WHAT DO I PLAN TO DO THIS WEEKEND? SLEEP ALL DAY AND LOLLYGAG ALL NIGHT. Yeah, you read that right. I'm going to lollygag. :P

Well, that was what I was originally going to do, buttttt, since not having to babysit is a rare opportunity, I might end up going out to hang with friends or having Krista come over since we really do need to catch up.

Anyway, Shanice is going to pick me up soon, and we're going to meet Sydne at our Mexican restaurant to catch up and receive our gifts that Sydne forgot to bring the last time she came back home. Can't wait! Maybe we can catch a movie at the dollar movie theater; I haven't been to a theater since the summer!

Ciao!

Mini Reviews: Spray, Daughter of Smoke and Bones, Low Red Moon, Jenna & Jonah's Fauxmance

Title: Spray
Author: Harry Edge
Pages: 240
Publication: December 7, 2010
Publisher: Feiwel & Friends
Summary taken from goodreads:
A group of teens sign up for an assassination game on the streets of a big city. Their weapons: pressurized water guns. It’s meant to be a game, a sport. But for some, it’s more than harmless fun. To win, they’ll use  any  means necessary.
Two hundred players. Three weeks of tense cat-and-mouse action. Every stalker is being stalked and only one player will be left standing. No one will be the same.
Through multiple points of view, Harry Edge puts readers right in the middle of the action—watch your back!
3.5 STARS - I LIKED IT

MY REVIEW:

I liked the book, but I LOVED the idea.

The plot itself was ingenious and very interesting. However, it took a while to figure out who was who because the book moved from multiple point-of-views, which eventually became entertaining and suspenseful, waiting to see how one player was going to spray and therefore "kill" their target.

Because of this book, I was inspired to make a school version of the game called Assassin where it's seniors exclusive and killing people involves brightly colored sticky notes instead of water guns. The game is still in session, but it's already been hilarious and entertaining watching all of my friends being so paranoid and distrustful of each other in between classes. XD

Title: Daughter of Smoke and Bones
Author: Laini Taylor
Pages: 432
Expected publication: September 27, 2011
Publisher: Little, Brown & Company
Summary taken from goodreads:
Around the world, black handprints are appearing on doorways, scorched there by winged strangers who have crept through a slit in the sky.
In a dark and dusty shop, a devil's supply of human teeth grown dangerously low.
And in the tangled lanes of Prague, a young art student is about to be caught up in a brutal otherworldly war.
Meet Karou. She fills her sketchbooks with monsters that may or may not be real; she's prone to disappearing on mysterious "errands"; she speaks many languages—not all of them human; and her bright blue hair actually grows out of her head that color. Who is she? That is the question that haunts her, and she's about to find out.
When one of the strangers—beautiful, haunted Akiva—fixes his fire-colored eyes on her in an alley in Marrakesh, the result is blood and starlight, secrets unveiled, and a star-crossed love whose roots drink deep of a violent past. But will Karou live to regret learning the truth about herself?
3.5 STARS - I LIKED IT

MY REVIEW:

From just reading the summary, I knew that I was going to in for a wild ride once I started reading Daughter of Smoke and Bone, and I was right.

The book was a wonderfully original fantasy full of amazing characters, suspense so thick you could taste it, and a mystery that slowly unravels to reveal something even bigger, all beautifully written only to conclude in an ending that is only just the beginning.

I can't wait to find out what happens to Karou in the next book in this series/trilogy/whatever it is.

Title: Low Red Moon
Author: Ivy Devlin
Pages: 244
Publication: September 14, 2010
Publisher: Bloomsbury USA Children's Books
Summary taken from goodreads:
The only thing Avery Hood can remember about the night her parents died is that she saw silver—deadly silver, moving inhumanly fast. As much as she wants to remember who killed them, she can't, and there's nothing left to do but try to piece her life back together. Then Avery meets the new boy in school—Ben, mysterious and beautiful, with whom she feels a connection like nothing she's ever experienced. When Ben reveals he's a werewolf, Avery still trusts him—at first. Then she sees that sometimes his eyes flash inhuman silver. And she learns that she's not the only one who can't remember the night her parents died.Part murder mystery, part grief narrative, and part heart-stopping, headlong romance, Low Red Moon is a must-read for teen paranormal fans. As breathless as Twilight and as spooky as Shiver, this is a book to be devoured in one sitting—by an acclaimed YA author making her paranormal debut under the pseudonym Ivy Devlin.
3 STARS - I LIKED IT ENOUGH

MY REVIEW:

Low Red Moon had an interesting plotline, but the only emotions Avery and all of the characters in the book showed were either sadness, anguish, or anger, which made the book very depressing, in my opinion.

There was also a Twilight scene in the book that made me LOL when I read it.

Title: Jenna & Jonah's Fauxmance
Authors: Emily Franklin & Brendan Halpin
Pages: 240
Publication: February 1, 2011
Publisher: Walker Books for Young Readers
Summary taken from goodreads:
Fans of romance don't need to look any further than the fauxmance brewing between teen idols Charlie Tracker and Fielding Withers—known on their hit TV show as Jenna and Jonah, next-door neighbors flush with the excitement of first love. But it's their off-screen relationship that has helped cement their fame, as passionate fans follow their every PDA. They grace the covers of magazines week after week. Their fan club has chapters all over the country. The only problem is their off-screen romance is one big publicity stunt, and Charlie and Fielding can't stand to be in the same room. Still, it's a great gig, so even when the cameras stop rolling, the show must go on, and on, and on. . . . Until the pesky paparazzi blow their cover, and Charlie and Fielding must disappear to weather the media storm. It's not until they're far off the grid of the Hollywood circuit that they realize that there's more to each of them than shiny hair and a winning smile.
2 STARS - IT WAS OKAY

MY REVIEW:

A quick and easy book with an original plot that was kind of confusing. The transitions between chapters were confusing since the scenes didn't follow exactly after each other. Also, I did not particularly like Charlie's character, but then again, how can I relate to a girl who's been born into showbiz?

I Don't Want to Go to Prom!

Am I odd because I don't want to go to prom because I'm cheap and think it's too much of a hassle?

(I really need to stop buying so many books since I don't even have time to read anymore.)

Half of my friends want me to go to prom because their parents are forcing them to, and the other half just wants to go since it's senior year and our last time to ever go to a formal dance and whatnot. But the ones who are being forced to go are okay with going since they know that their friends are also going to prom, which means that they can all suffer together. :P

And they want me to go because I'm the only one out of our group of friends who doesn't want to go. And I'm sure for some other reasons, too. :P I should ask them why.

Maybe it's because homecoming turned out so fun that everyone's excited for prom, especially because everyone gets a later curfew compared to homecoming.

I know that going to prom would most likely end up being fun, especially if it was like how homecoming turned out to be, but I just don't want to go. And really, why is everyone already talking about prom when it's MONTHS AWAY? Like, more than half a year away.

I think the main reason why I refuse to go to prom is because everyone's trying to force or bribe me to go, and I just feel like being stubborn. Plus, I also think it's ridiculously way too early to be thinking a out it anyway.

I regret telling Emily and Meethu about Bryan asking me to prom. I should have realize that they'd use him as part of their argument. -__-" It's only been four days since homecoming, but it already feels like it's been weeks since the dance, what with all of their nagging and pleading. :P

And I impulsively came up with a condition for me to go to prom yesterday that I totally regret telling my friends. If I was to agree to it, I should have told them later so they'd have less time. >:)

My condition to go was that everyone at my lunch table would have to get a legit date for prom, meaning that Emily actually had to get a date instead of paying a guy to take pictures with her as her date like she was planning to since her mom's forcing her to get a date and take pics of them together.

I'm pretty sure that everyone else won't have too hard of a time to get a date, though, especially since I came up with the condition so early in the year. Why did I have to open my mouth?! D:

Anyway, I gotta go! Lots of homework and studying to do. How come Fitz waited until today to tell us that we had a test tomorrow?! I was barely paying attention in class for the last week! D:

I'm surprised that a quite a bit of the books that I read, I read from over 3 or 4 years ago or when I was in elementary school. O__O Also, I'm surprised that I read 49 books/series from the list (would be a lot more if I got around to reading all of my TBR books, lol -__-"), but I'm not surprised that I recognized almost all of the books mentioned, though; they're supposed to be the most popular YA books, dur. :P

Another thing that I noticed is that I don't usually finish a series. Probably because I have so many other books to read these days that I don't have time to go back and reread the previous books in a series to refresh my memory on what happened. That, or I just didn't like the first book in the series enough to read the rest of it.

In My Mailbox (38)

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren.

For Review:
Death Sentence by Alexander Gordon Smith
Hades by Alexandra Adornetto
The Fox Inheritance by Mary E. Pearson

Bought:
Behemoth by Scott Westerfeld
Fade by Lisa McMann
Gone by Lisa McMann
After Ever After by Jordan Sonnenblick
When You Reach Me by Rebecca Stead
Paper Towns by John Green
Cryer's Cross by Lisa McMann
The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie
The Wanderer by Sharon Creech
Walk Two Moons by Sharon Creech

I'm glad that I own the first books for all of my review books this week since they're all sequels or the third book in a series. Unfortunately, Halo was one of my DNF books from last year, so I don't think I'll ever read Hades...

The Wanderer and Walk Two Moons are two books that I absolutely loved when I read them in elementary school. I hope that I'll still be in love with them after I reread them again, whenever I find time to do so anyway. :)

As for the rest of the books, I can't wait to read them, too!

This Week Was Whoa O__O

As I expected, this week was really fun and interesting, especially last night. But I'll get to that in a minute.

I dressed up for three of the five days of Spirit Week and took lots of pictures of all of my friends. I also created a challenge and another side project for myself involving taking lots of pictures. After having a random conversation with Seth, I decided to make a 30 Lunch Table Challenge, which is where I take a pic of everyone who sits at my lunch table for 30 days and upload them in my album on FB. It's pretty funny since I usually manage to take embarrasssing/funny pictures of everyone. :D

The other project I came up with was inspired by my Ash Ketchum costume. I decided to create my own PokeMANS collection, meaning that I take individual pictures of all of my friends and teachers and giving them special abilities that they can come up with or give me the choice of choosing for them. I took a lot of pics of my friends in their costumes from Character Day, so there's quite a variety. :) I have yet to create that album on FB, but I think it's going to be a year-long project, lol, collecting all of my friends' and strangers' pics.

Lol, I WISH that I could get that many people's pictures to do a collage like this!

So, last night was the Homecoming Dance, and it was quite an interesting night, lol. Once we found out what time Meethu's date, Zack, was picking her up at my house, we had to rush through everything since it was so early.

Since he said that they were taking pictures at his house 5:45, we had to skip staying after school to help decorate the lunchroom, and went straight to the bank for Meethu to get some money (poor girl, her parents couldn't find out that she was taking any money, so this was all secret stuff). After that, we went to Kroger to pick up her buttonier and get another cake for the potluck Meethu was going to have with Zack and his friends.

Finally, we went to my house, ate a quick snack, and we all jumped in the showers since it 20 minutes until 4 already. Then, we all gathered in my bathroom to start to get ready, Emily attempting to curl her hair, Meethu doing some last minute threading, and me eating Cheeto's Puffs, lol.

We eventually got to the makeup part, and Shanice came over to get primped, too. Since I have never put on makeup myself, everyone (including my mom) was having fun watching me fail at being girly, lol. -__-" I eventally had Meethu put eyeliner and mascara on me.

Then, Zack came really early, around 3:20, and no one was in their dresses yet, so all of the girls were rushing upstairs while Zack had to suffer sitting on the coach watching some drama in Vietnamese my mom was watching. Then, we had a crisis upstairs since we couldn't zip up Meethu's dress all of the way no matter what we did. Eventally, we had my mom come up, and she fixed it. Apparently, we had to zip it up slowly, which was the complete opposite of what we were doing, trying to pull the zipper up as fast as we could. -__-"

So, we were finally done and took a few pictures together. They didn't turn out that great, but it's better than nothing. After they left, Shanice came back (she had to go home to get her earrings and something else that she forgot) and we kind of cleaned up a little, and then decided to go eat at Sonic since we were hungry.

We stopped at Emily's house first so that her mom could take pictures of her outside, and I had a GREAT, HILARIOUS idea. What if we all took individual pictures in front of Emily's car so that it looked like one of those car calendars? It would be so funny! We just had to get enough girls to do it with us! I mean, we were already planning on meeting up with at least 5 other girls already! But Emily and Shanice rejected the idea... :(

Then we finally went to Sonic and ordered our food and went back to my house to eat it, just chatting and whatnot. By that time, it was already 6:30, so we just chilled on the couches downstairs while I attempted to take pics of Emily since she didn't want to take any. Lol, I loved how Shanice would immediately drop into a pose once she saw the camera pointed her way. ^^

Around 7:20, we left for the dance even though it started at 7:30, since Emily wanted a good parking spot. We weren't super early, though, since there was already quite a bit of people already there, which was surprising. But, no one was dancing and everyone was just standing in groups awkwardly as I expected, lol.

No one really started dancing until around 8 when there was a lot more people in the lunchroom. By that time, my friends found some more friends who actually liked to dance, so we were dragged into dancing, and it was fun dancing awkwardly, having no idea what I was doing, lol. Shanice, Emily and I took our shoes off early once we started dancing, though, since we knew that they were going to kill us while we got our groove on. XD

But man, it got SO hot in there, and jumping and dancing did not help at all. I was getting sweaty and hot so fast, it was insane. Then there was more people, and everyone was dancing all close together and the bass was thumping so loud that you could feel the vibrations inside of you, and I really wished that it could of been a concert instead. XD Or that they played some more songs that I recognized as the night progressed.

After the first hour and a half, the DJ just started playing ghetto black people songs that I didn't recognize and that basically gave people an excuse to get close to people and grind up on each other. Or do someother booty-shaking, low, dirty dancing. It was kind of gross.

Really, they should of had this sign at the dance. :P
So yeah, we had originally planned on leaving around 10:30 to go to Waffle House with everyone, but decided to leave around 10 since the dance was getting kind of boring since all everyone was doing was just grinding on everyone else.

But, in the end, we didn't manage to round everyone up and leave until around 10:30 anyway. -__-" So, we finally went to Waffle House with everyone, Bryan and me carpooling with Shanice, who ended up being the last ones to get there. Even outside, we could see through the windows that the place was already crowded with some people who was at the dance there already, the rest of our friends already at the booths, and some people from Warner Robins High School there, too, coming from a game (we could easily tell because all of the paint on them).

Nicole, Collin, Emma, Kelly, and Erica didn't come since they drove by and saw that it was too crowded, which was sad. They decided to go to Sonic's instead. :(

So yeah, all of our friends managed to fit into two booths, and Mia came in a little later since she wanted to stay behind with her date a little bit. And boy, did she have a little surprise story to tell us about what happened to her. Her date basically tried to get it on with her in her car. O__O

We talked and laughed and took pictures and had a good time. I was kind of sad that I couldn't sit with Meethu and Emily at their booth in front of us, but my table was really fun.

Shared half a waffle with Shanice and also had mushroom hashbrowns, deliciousness to the max!
In the end, everyone at my table ended up staying in my room hanging out later that night after Emily and Meethu had come over to get their stuff before leaving since they had a curfew at 11:30. Mia and Seth had a curfew at midnight and Jackie, Shanice, and Bryan didn't really have a curfew. Did I ever mention how much I love my parents for not caring to give me a curfew? :D

But yeah, after we finished eating at Waffle House, everyone wanted to go do something that we wouldn't normally do in fancy dresses, but we ended up going to my house since Emily and Meethu had to go home soon. My mom was asleep in her room, so she didn't hear the bunch of teenagers come in and invade my room, lol.

While the two got their stuff, everyone else was standing around trying to figure our what was open this late at night that wasn't too far since we only had 40 minutes until midnight. In the end, we just decided to hang out in my room, while slowly, everyone started going home.

Mia and Seth left 10 minutes before midnight with Seth taking Jackie home, and Shanice told her dad that she was going home around 12:30, so she eventually left after talking about old anime with Bryan and me. Then Bryan texted his parents to pick him up and eventally left around 12:50.

But I think Meethu was right about Bryan liking me... After everyone else left, we were talking and somehow got onto the topic of prom, and he kept trying to get me to go to prom, eventally saying "Go to prom with me" even though I've already told everyone that I don't want to go to prom because it's so much effort.

Like, Homecoming was enough effort as it is. And I didn't even have a date. But watching Meethu and all that she had to do because she had a date, just made me REALLY not want to go.

And besides, I went to a dance this year already: Homecoming. So I think I've already filled my dancing requirements for Senior year. :P

But yeah, he kept on trying to persuade me to go to prom even though, unlike most of our friends, our parents aren't forcing us to go. So, why else would a guy ask someone to go to prom with him if not because they like her? Plus, he was asking for hugs quite a few times last night (and he's the type of person who doesn't like people touching him unless a few exceptions), and he's been texting me a lot for the past few days and we always talk whenever I get on FB, too. And he'd usually flirt or compliment me on there, but I just thought that it was all in jest and whatnot. But now... I don't know.

Anyway, I eventually told him that I'd think about it since prom was so far away anyway. Plus, if the theme was going to suck like last year, I really wouldn't go no matter what. Also, I remembered that I had kind of made plans with Krista to go to her prom with her or that she'd go to my prom with me, so we'd see how everything would work out.

Also, it was like the world was on Bryan's side since we got on Netflix on our Xbox 360's later that night to watch a movie together, and it just HAD to mention prom in it. O__O

Well, we were watching 13 Assassins, but we didn't know that it was in subtitles, and it was 1 in the morning and we were tired, so we decided to watch something else. We ended up watching The LXD: The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers, which is this random movie that I found on there, and the first part of the movie involved teenagers going to prom.

It was so not cool, but also pretty funny when you thought about it. Like, really, if I knew how the movie went and suggest it to him, it really would have been like a sign that I DID want to go to prom afterall. But I don't. :P

But yeah, we didn't finish the movie since we were both falling asleep [it was 2 something by the time I finally went to bed], so we're planning on eventually finishing it sometime later. Prolly tonight after my bro finally gets off the Xbox around midnight or whatever time my mom forces him to get off.

But yeah, I guess I was more tired than I thought since I actually overslept for an hour today, waking up around 10 instead of usually waking up around 9 on Saturdays no matter how late I stayed up the night before. Luckily, the kids weren't doing anything crazy when I finally came over to babysit.

Anyway, I'm going to go, cuz I still fell a little tired (I thought that I was losing my voice from talking so much last night since it sounded so rough when I started talking this morning, but it sounds almost back to normal now, lol).

Later guys~
