Top Ten Tuesday: Best/Worst Movie Adaptations

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by the Broke and Bookish.

The first five movies I did not like because they didn't stick with the book's plot well enough or the acting and/or the graphics were bad.

Top Five Worst Movie Adaptations:
  • Twilight
  • Blood and Chocolate
  • Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants
  • Where the Wild Things Are
  • Avalon High

These I thought had the best adaptations because of the great acting, the great scenery, and the great cast. Plus, they all stuck with the book's plot pretty well without skipping too many scenes or changing too much to fit with the movie's quicker plot.

Top Ten Best Movie Adaptations:
  • Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 & 2
  • The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe
  • Prince Caspian
  • Tomorrow When the War Began
  • The Perks of Being a Wallflower

Both lists were actually pretty hard to come up with since there are a lot of movie adaptations I've watched but have yet to read the actual book to compare each other with.
