The Black Bruins & I Will Not Let An Exam Result Decide My Fate

I just really like spoken word, okay. It's so powerful.

I saw this video on Upworthy the other day and loved it. Just watch.

Also watch this video, because yes, this is why I hate taking tests! (Not just cuz I cram everything in a day and forget it right after the test. :P)

Long Distance Relationship Irony

I've always said that I could never do long distance relationships, and guess what. I'm basically having one. -__-" Granted, he'll be back in 5 weeks, but still. My first relationship and it pretty much starts off as a long distance relationship. The irony, man. -__-

I just can't believe that I realized this now, lol. I was always dead sure that I could never do long distance since I've always been a out-of-sight-out-of-mind kind of person, but guess what. I still think about him every day. Having his phone helps remind me, but I'm pretty sure that I'd still think of him every day without it.

But that's not the only thing that I've been thinking about. David and I aren't even official yet; we're still just dating. Like I said in an earlier post, I'm not even sure if I'll still like him as much by the time he comes back and vice versa. And Shanice said something to me a few days ago that has me wondering even more about how this summer is going to turn out.

She said that even some couples who have been together for a year don't last when put in a long distance relationship. So on one hand, if I still like him by the time he comes back, I must like him a lot, but on the other hand, if I don't like him or lose interest or forget about him by the time he comes back, I don't think we could workout.

And I don't know what to feel about this. Obviously, if the former happens, I'll be happy because having a crush and dating is fun, but if the latter happens, then I'm not sure if I can learn to like him again if I lost interest in the first place and because I don't want to force myself into a relationship that I'm iffy about.

Ughhhh. Why am I thinking about this? D: It's weeks away and I should worry and overthink and stuff when it's actually closer to the time he comes back.

Okay, everything that I wrote so far was written a few days ago, which was a day after I sent him an email telling him that I missed him along with some other news and jokes. He replied the next day and we've been exchanging emails ever since, and I think my opinion has changed, lol.

Yeah, his first reply had me keyboard smashing because of his honesty and dorkiness. I still smile whenever I think about it, lol. But you can't just throw lines like "thought about you every day" and "your email actually made my day" and not expect me to dissolve into incoherent flailing, okay. That's impossible for me, especially when I haven't heard from him in a while, lol.

That email definitely made me think about him a lot more, which is just unfair because I was finally getting used to not wanting to text him all of the stupid shit that I noticed throughout the day. Now I want to do it all over again. Not cool, man. :P

Anyway, I think we'll be okay doing this long distance thing. Hopefully we won't run out of things to say. :P We'll see. :)

Some lists you should read

Whenever I get on Facebook, I always get suckered into reading interesting articles my friends post links of. I found three that I really liked the other day and wanted to share them.

The first article is called 60 Little Tips That Can Change a Girl's Life. I really liked it because the tips are very useful and logical, and I'm glad that I already do half of them, lol.

Another article that I liked was 20 Things You Need to Accept About Your 20s. This article resonated with me a lot since I'm going through some of the things they mentioned and have already realized and accepted a lot of the things they talked about. All in all, I think a lot of people my age should read this article.

This last article, 25 Things You Need to Know About Georgia, is much more lighthearted, lol. I agreed with almost everything they mentioned. Loved 15. Sweet tea is our water. XD

I want to be social? I think...

Ugh, I think I've been in a funk ever since I got back home on Sunday. I don't want to do half of the things I normally do like blog or read or lay about in bed or continue watching my shows. I don't even know what I want to do anymore, but I think I want to go outside or hangout with people or both.

I think these past weeks of going out of town and hanging out with my friends has made me used to being around people more compared to my usual limit of being around people before needing a recharge by myself since I've been pretty much hanging out with people nonstop since school ended.

Not gonna lie, I think David also plays a large part in this funk since whenever I wasn't physically hanging out with people, I would at least be texting him all day, so I was always in contact with someone. Now he's gone to Vietnam for six weeks, and I'm trying to get used to not being able to text him randomly and getting a dorky reply.

And that's the funny thing; we've only started texting and hanging out a little over two and a half weeks ago. I didn't expect for him to be such a constant presence in my life so quickly. I'm actually kind of glad that we didn't get to hangout for much longer or else I would probably miss him even more while he's gone. XP

I guess I'll use the six weeks to see how much I like him, lol. See if I'm still interested in the awkward giraffe when he comes back. XD And vice versa now that I think about it. He could lose interest in me as well... Eh, we'll see.

I just know that I definitely won't forget about him while he's gone. He left me his phone so that I could keep watch over his village in Clash of Clans. It happened really randomly and I still don't know what to think about it.

Like, we were hanging out on our date that wasn't really a date/double date with my sis and her bf who were in their room at the time, and he asked me if I wanted to look after his village while he was away. I thought that he was just gonna give me his info so that I could log on as him on my phone or something, but he said that he'd just give me his phone since he wasn't going to bring it to Vietnam anyway.

So I just said okay thinking that he'd give it to me the day before he left, but he gave me his phone right before he left my house that night! I was confused again because I figured he'd still need it for tomorrow, but he just said that it was fine.

So yeah, when I showed Shelle his phone later that night, she was super surprised that he left his phone with me. It didn't hit me until then just how much he trusted me to give me his phone. Either he really doesn't have anything to hide, or he trusts that I won't mess around with his phone while he's gone, or both.

I dunno. I'm just ruminating on stupid stuff, lol.

I should go and do something. I already did my productive thing for the day, cleaning the house since Mommy's coming home on Friday. But still, I should get started on those blogs about my New York trip and Momocon. Or something.
