MY REVIEW:
Like what the author stated in the summary, the focus of this book was never WHO Yu Qi ended up with, so while I was surprised by the ending, I really enjoyed the way it panned out. It was nice reading about someone who WASN'T a love brain, who actually cared more about her career and research and whose personality didn't change drastically as she learned how to not be only focused on research and start caring about the people around her, learning from her mistakes in her first life. Also, it was pretty amusing seeing all of the shura fields suddenly happening.

I feel like I've read this before. It seems vaguely familiar, but I couldn't find the title anywhere in my notes! Either way, it was an interesting premise, and I loved Ruan Tao! She was a happy, optimistic face con who could never control her internal obvious likes lol. I loved how any of Bo Yutong's pampering actions could set off her inner groundhog into screaming lmao!

MY REVIEW:
This was an interesting premise. I loved Chi Mo's growth and her and Lu Jiabai's relationship. They were very healthy and supportive of each other no matter the world or character card she drew. However, the plot felt a little laggy at parts, so I lost interest a few times towards the second half of the book. Overall, it was a good book. A bit sad that I couldn't find the extras to read though.
