MY REVIEW:
I liked Wen Zhiwen's attitude towards accepting her transmigration and her sudden marriage. Instead of following the plot, she played her role as a loving wife while accomplishing her dreams of being a salted fish.
I loved that she didn't fall in love with her husband instantaneously because she had no plans on falling in love and instead had backup plans for herself. Everything she did was because she just wanted to or to plan for a way out for herself in the future, so it was nice reading about Yu Huaiyan slowly falling for his "lovebrain wife" only to realize that she never loved him and working hard to change her mind.
However, the ending dragged a bit. Then, it just kind of ended. I wasn't too interested in the extras either, so I skipped them after reading a chapter.

I think if you liked New Times, New Hell with its different take on Hell and full of humorous ghosts side characters, you'll like this book. If you like a BG face slapping plot, this is also right up your alley. If you're looking for romance... you should look somewhere else lol. But honestly, Cheng Qingyin's so great by herself and so busy helping her family and ghosts, she doesn't need a man! There's only hints of a romance, so it wasn't too abrupt.

MY REVIEW:
I really liked the story up until the first half which mainly involved Chu Yu's school life. Everything was funny and Chu Yu's antics on pissing off all of her teachers was hilarious. Then it got into politics and the past, and everything became a boring jumbled mess with lots of hints but not enough action.
Everything suddenly became passive. There was a lot of telling instead of showing, which made the pace slow down a lot. I was glad to finally understand the mysteries, but the ending wasn't as great or impactful as it could have been.
