Kpop Appreciation Post: Illy J, Infinite, B.A.P, BTS, Kim Hyun Joong

I am forever in the process of catching up on Kpop, lol. I found this song through one of my subscriptions a few weeks ago. I really like it! It's a lot calmer compared to the rest of the songs mentioned in this post, and the I love the acoustics; they go along with the guys' voices so well.

Listen to Illy J's "Stained"! Judging from the view count, they're pretty unknown, which is such a disappointment. They sound great. I'm going to check out the rest of their music.

But man, I've been out of the loop for the past month that I didn't even know that a whole bunch of my favorite groups had a comeback just last week alone! :c

First, there's Infinite's "Destiny", which I really liked. The is definitely catchy and still retains that Infinite feel that all of their title songs have, and the dancing was pretty awesome. Surprisingly, I actually liked everyone's looks. XD Their outfits weren't too strange, their hair was good, and their expressions! :DDD

Check it out!

B.A.P also had a comeback! Their song "Hurricane" was nothing like I expected. I thought--more like hoped--that they were going to go back to their badass image like in their first three songs, but instead, they had a more charismatic Kpop-y sound with a dubstep interlude that is becoming the norm in Kpop.

I liked it though. And I really liked the fact that Zelo had curls again, lol. Daehyun was lookin' awesome, and so was pretty much everyone else. :D

Listen to it!

I've been interested in BTS ever since their debut a few months ago, because unlike B.A.P, they promised that they were going to stick to their tough concept; they weren't going to change their image with each album, and that is awesome.

Their songs themselves are also awesome. They're tough, but they're also real and relatable. Their newest song, "We Are Bulletproof Pt.2" is no exception. I loved the beat and their attitude. Their singing was also really good as well as the raps. They had a really good blend of both, which is hard to find in a song nowadays.

Also, I loved their dance. The locked and loaded gun part of the chorus and the dance break with the hats were my favorites. :D

Definitely check out their mv!

I've never really been that interested in Kim Hyun Joong, but I definitely like his new song, "Unbreakable". It also features Jay Park, who is also awesome in the song. Plus, the abs... so many abs... :D

responsibilities suck, yo

I feel like every time I get on my laptop, I've got at least two or three people or things that I need to respond to or do concerning responsibilities.

First there's my new work-study job that I got, then there's scholarship stuff, and there's all of these club responsibilities since I've got like, three leadership positions--maybe four if we get the astronomy club reinstated. Plus, I also have to finish moving out of my apartment and have Deidra get her stuff out of the apartment by the end of the month.

There's always important emails to be sent and things to do. D:

And I'm also trying to catch up with all of my friends since we've barely seen each other all summer, let alone the past school year, and it's difficult because we're all busy. We've got jobs or summer classes or even both. The summer's almost over, and I'm going to be out of town in the next few weeks and won't be back until the day before classes start...

There's just not enough time. D:

In conclusion, I don't like being an adult. I never want to grow up. Getting taxed is bad enough! I don't wanna be held accountable for my decisions! :P

Lol, I really just wanted to wank about some stuff. Don't take me seriously. I just did not expect to have to do so many things this summer before school even started. I am socially awkward, being polite is painful, even in emails--especially in emails.

Cover Lover 34

Ugh. Today was so tiring it really showed at work. Cam had to leave around one cuz his couch that he ordered was coming in, and Charles and I decided to leave early too because we were too tired and unmotivated.

I've been getting four to five hours of sleep this week, which makes me tired enough, but I decided to skip breakfast this morning since I was running late, so I was practically in a hungry, exhausted daze until lunch.

Also, I can't seem to take naps anymore because of really good Sterek fics. -__-

Top Ten Tuesdays: Words/Topics That Will Make You NOT Pick Up a Book

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by the Broke and Bookish.

I'm not a picky reader when it comes to topics, it just depends on what type of mood I'm in when I'm choosing a new book to read. Lately, I've been only reading action/adventure/series books because I want something quick and engaging with not too much emotional baggage because I've been too busy with summer classes and work.

Top Two Words/Topics That Will Make You NOT Pick Up a Book:

1. NONFICTION
I'm sorry, but to me, nonfiction books will always be synonymous with boring biographies full of pretentious people. I just can't. The only nonfiction that would ever interest me are those reference books about medieval weapons and stuff like that.

2. AUTOBIOGRAPHIES/BIOGRAPHIES
See reason above.

So yeah, that's about it. Like I said, I'm not picky. :P

Summer Classes Are Over!

I don't think I did that well on my Accounting test, but I really can't bring myself to care. :P

I'm hoping to have made an A on my Statistics test or else I'll end up having a B in that class, which would really suck considering how well I was doing in the beginning. :\

But whatever. I'm too happy about not having to study for a whole month before classes start again. XD Now I have time to do other things! Catch up on a whole lot of things.

Also, new Teen Wolf in an hour! :DDD

yet another weekend cramming/procrastinating ;__;

My last two tests are tomorrow, and I am hardly prepared. D: This is mainly my fault--as always--but still. Ugh, I hate myself so much sometimes.

I meant to study after work on Wednesday and Thursday, but the A/C broke at the apartment on Tuesday and was in the middle of being fixed the next day, so I couldn't even go upstairs to attempt to study because it was so hot until some time after nine. By then, I couldn't bring myself to care study, I was too hot and tired. :P

...I don't even remember much of what I did on Thursday night. o__O I unpacked my stuff that I had brought home from the apartment, and I think I read half of a chapter, and then I goofed off for the rest of the night.

Then I started my period on Friday, and I couldn't find my pain medicine that I bought a few months ago, so I was basically too distracted by cramps for the majority of the night when I tried to study. That lead me to spending too much time on Tumblr trying to distract myself from the pain and then losing the motivation to study anymore. -__-"

Michelle came home on Saturday, so it was impossible trying to study with her there ordering me around to help take her stuff out of the car or just bothering me. -__- In addition, when my dad came home, we went to the movies to watch Pacific Rim, which was pretty cool.

Today, I studied a bit before my dad came home and we left to go to the apartment to finish moving all of the big furniture out of it before our lease runs out at the end of the month. And I should definitely get back to cramming since I only have a few hours of brainpower left.

(I can't believe I stayed up until four this morning reading a fic. D:)

I'm just ready for tomorrow to be over since I refuse to take the finals on Wednesdays, no matter what my average is. I'm still going to have at least a B in both of my classes, and right now, I can't bring myself to care if I don't make at least one A.

But yeah, once the tests are over, I will officially be done with summer classes and can enjoy my summer study-free again. To celebrate, I get to enjoy the new episode of Teen Wolf with Shanice tomorrow night. XD

Just a few more hours of torture!
