BEARSTOCK WAS AMAZING *__*

the concert ended a few hours ago around midnight and it was AMAZING!!

We The Kings were the last performers and they were just awesome. i love how Check Yes Juliet was their last song because i will always remember the lyrics to that song no matter how long i haven't listened to it. but i'm kinda said that they didnt play This is Our Town because i really love that song :D

The Maine went on right before them and they were also really amazing. they really knew how to pump up the crowd XD and all of the members were HOT.

and... I GOT TO TAKE A PIC WITH SOME OF THE MEMBERS AND GET THEIR AUTOGRAPHS AFTER THE CONCERT!!!!! XD
kinda disappointed that i couldnt take a pic with the lead singer cuz he was really hot and amazing on stage and funny, but oh well, i got to take a pic with the drummer (guy in the middle) and i really liked him, too, so all's good :P

and the guy making the funny face is actually really cute (you know, when he's NOT making that face :P) and i really liked him, too, so i'm glad that i got to take a pic with him, too :D

they were all really cool and down to earth and stuff which made them even awesomer.

if i could figure out some better words to describe the awesome-ness of the whole concert, i'd try, but right now, my brain is mush and i'd just like to bask in the awesome-ness of the whole night for now.

so i'll try to write about it all later when i can. prolly not tomorrow, tho, since i hafta study for math and AP -- jeez, that doesnt even COMPARE to what just happened a few hours earlier :P

laters~

Faith that we have will
Always be here because we have an
Inextricable connection
That we built together so stay
Hopeful

i didnt come up with that, i found it here and just thought that i'd share it with you cuz i really like it :D

anyways, i dont really have much time so this is just a quick post of me mainly fangirling from catching up with everything in the kpop world over the past few days.

[oh my god it's so hot right now! i've been exercising and i'm still sweating -__-]

i so want to go to a super junior concert! they goof off and do the craziest things at concerts! and fans give them the strangest things! like thongs! and food and really really cool hats XD

2PM's gonna have a comeback soon! i think it's some time this week! can't wait! i heard a teaser for their comeback and it sounds really good.

2PM is also coming to ATL! but it's only cuz they're the opening act for the Wonder Girls who are having a tour around the US, so i dont think i'll go... i mean, i'd totally go if it was 2PM was the group doing the tour, but i dont think it'll be fair to just go and support 2PM for their one song they'll perform and then be unenthusiastic when the Wonder Girls come out, or even worse, just leave after 2PM's done.

so yeah, maybe another time. or hopefully by then, i'll have enough money and be able to go to one of their performances out of state [gotta be optimistic, right? :P]

but i am finally going to my first concert this saturday! it's gonna be at Mercer so shelle's gonna take me and krista and her friends who go there are going too. they main acts are WE THE KINGS, THE MAIN, CARTEL, and this dood that we don't know called Jeremeh (or something like that).

what sucks is that since i've been in the kpop world for a year and a half, i've totally been out of the loop of american music and all of my favorite rock bands and singers in general, have new albums and stuff out.

...and it doesnt help that i prefer listening to pop songs that get me up and dancing to rock/alternative songs now...

other shocking news that i came across the other day was that one of my newly favorite books, Wings by Aprilynne Pike, is being made into a Disney movie. but with Miley Cyrus playing Laurel, the main character.
my first reaction after saying "yay! it's being made into a movie! :D" was "D: Miley Cyrus? WHY?!"

i've heard bad reviews about her lastest movie that just came out (not really my type of movie that i'd watch) and all i can say is that i hope her acting is MUCH better in Wings because that book deserves the best because it's freaking awesome. :P

i wonder how they're gonna do her flower growing on her back? i hope it's really pretty and amazing cuz that's how i imagined it XD oh, and who the boys are gonna be played by cuz they've GOT to look good.

can't wait for Spells to hurry up and come out next month!

and now alot DBSK/jaejoong pics!

and jae was recently featured in a japanese women's magazine, so of course i had to save them since he's so sexily adorkable in them XD

and that's all for now.

jeez, i said that this would be a short post but it still took me around an hour to do since i kept on getting distracted [i always do -__-"].

later~

break's over :'(

while i didnt like having to babysit during the break, i still prefer doing that instead of going to school and all of it's stresses. plus, i at least get PAID while babysitting [i've finally got cash to burn XD].

on thursday, alot of shelle's friends and krista came over to hang out and spend the night. she had 7 or 8 people over and only 2 left since they lived in town, while everyone else stayed the night.

we ate this type of korean style thing where we had a little grill where we just put food [like meat, shrimp, tofu, fish, and squid] on it to cook and ate it with noodles and lettuce and stuff.

after krista and i finished eating [well, mainly me since krista had just finished eating before she came], we went out for a walk. we walked to the back of the neighborhood where they havent started building any houses yet.

we talked about the randomest things. like, how screwed we'd be if zombies attacked us while we were out back there since there wasnt much to help us. and we talked about how we'd rather have slow, stupid, relentless zombies after us than the smart, fast zombies [obviously].

actually, we talked about escape plans with any type of supernatural we could think of. like we'd be screwed if vampires attacked us and we'd rather be lycans than werewolves and witches and wizards are prolly too busy secretly fighting their wars to think about us mere humans, and demons are really dangerous.

it was really weird when we were walking, tho. every time we got near one of the tall lights outside, it would turn off. our explanations were that it was because our demonic auras were so powerful that the lights turn off by themselves XP

when we got back home, it was already dark and around 9. mommy was freaking out a little because of that. she dragged us inside and told us that everyone else was watching ninja assassin [krista brought it over since none of shelle's friends has watched it yet].

so we watched it for a while until krista got bored since she's already seen it 3 times and we went upstairs to do stuff on the interweb.

after they had finished watching the movie downstairs, they started playing DDR [one of shelle's friend brought a mat over since we only have one] with the music playing really loud; it sounded like a club down there. :P shelle came in for a minute to ask us if we wanted to join but we said no.

she came back an hour or 2 later and we decided why not even tho we both suck =__=" after a while, everyone wanted to do karaoke, so we turned on the karaoke machine that our parents got a while back but havent really used.

tawanda was really funny when singing songs cuz she'd act it out and it was hilarious, especially with the love songs. shelle wanted krista and i to do "just lose it" by eminem which is basically a rap song.

we agreed but wanted to dress up to look the part, so we raced upstairs to find some gangsta clothes to wear. krista wore her beanie, put on some long pants with money on it that i gave her, my black with neon blue striped jacket, and some shades on. she really did look gangster.

me, i wore my sleeping pants over my shorts to make it look like i was sagging and my boxers were showing, i pulled one of my pants leg up to my knees, i wore the black and white checkered jacket that shelle and i own, and a black hat that i got from hot topic a while ago. i didnt look anywhere as gangster as krista did :P

and when we went downstairs to do our rap, we didnt even know half of the lyrics or how it was supposed to go, so even the lyrics on the screen didnt really help us. the rap was so fast. hell, amanda and chris knew how to sing it better than we did. it was so hilarious tho. and hot, geez, i was burning up in all the clothes i was wearing.

but yeah, we stayed up until 4 singing songs. we sang alot of old songs [not like there were that many recent songs] from back in the day like backstreet boys and nsync. there were some linkin park songs, too, which we also sang. and we sang alot of songs that used to be on the radios that were past hits.

one song that everyone knew was "bye bye bye" by nsync XD

but yeah, around 3-4, krista and i took showers and decided to quit since it was late and we had to get up around 9 to go babysit. yeah, i had to bring krista with me to do my job, she normally never wakes up anytime before noon, but because it's me, she's willing to wake up early :3

so yeah, after a few hours of sleep, it could of been called a long nap really, we had to get up and went over to my cousins house. apparently, all of the adults had left already so only the kids were there.

krista and i were tired, but we were already awake, so we couldnt exactly go back to sleep any time soon, so we decided to watch the first few episodes of family outing since krista's been wanting to watch the whole variety show in order after she found out that daesung's in it [at least in the first season].

we watched that for a while until i had to get food for the kids and then brian came over and said that we had to come back to our house after i finished feeding the kids for lunch there.

it turned out that it was the leftovers from last night's dinner, but it was still tastey. krista really liked it since she didnt eat much last night [i had to force her to eat] since she was already full from dinner at her house.

then we went back to the cousin's house and i let them go to their friends house while krista and i chilled in the backyard on their trampoline for a while until it got really hot.

then we watched some more stuff until one of the uncles came home and we could go home. shelle's friends had already left by the time we got back and she wanted to go to the bookstore.

krista's dad wasnt going to pick her up until 8 so we had a few hours to kill, so we went. there's so much manga i need to buy! i'm behind in all of my series! it's insane. i can read the majority of them online, but i dont want to, you know? and there's also a bunch of regular books that i want to buy, too!

gosh, why am i such a bookworm? :P

and then we had to go home quickly cuz it was almost 8 [we loiter wayyy too much at stores :P]. i didnt get anything, but shelle bought vol. 9 of We Were There and krista bought a novel of Trinity Blood.

when we got back home, krista got her stuff and then her dad was there and she was gone.

the next day, saturday, i needed to go to the library so we decided to go to kohls since there was a sale and then went to ross.

i got a pair of jeans and a nice enough shirt that i could wear to competitions next year, and shelle got a skirt and some gladiator sandals at kohls. at ross, i got a skirt cuz i only have 2 and their both long and old.

by that time, we were both tired and decided to go home since there was nothing else we wanted to do. and then i found out that one of the books that i wanted to renew online since it was due that day couldnt be renewed and shelle found something sticky on her new sandals so we decided to go back to return both of them and shelle got a different pair [the library was closed by the time we got there so i couldnt ask them why i couldnt renew it]. by that time, we were really tired.

so yeah, that's what happened during the end of my break.

and i read a few books over the break, too. i talked about some of them in my last post, but i read a few others.

i read Cast in Courtlight by Michelle Sagara, the sequel to Cast in Shadow. it had less fighting since this had more to do with politics and stuff, but it was still good altho i'm kinda annoyed about how the main character doesnt know all of this stuff since she never payed attention in class and stuff since it'd make things so much easier. anyway, i'm waiting for the next book to come in from the library.

i finished reading Wonderland by Tommy Kovac and Sonny Liew. it's a comic book based on Alice in Wonderland from Mary Ann's point of view, the White Rabbit's maid. i mainly picked it because the art was different and interesting. the story was good, too.

and i cant wait for The Reckoning by Kelley Armstrong to come out tomorrow. i let emily read the first book of the trilogy [just found out today that it's a trilogy :P] over the break and she loved it, so she rushed out to read the 2nd book and has been waiting like crazy for the 3rd book to come out tomorrow so she can buy it and devour it. XD and i get dibs to read it after her which wont take too long :D

oh yeah, and shelle and i finally finished watching God of Study. oh my god, i love that drama so much. it's prolly my favorite drama right now. it's funny, heartwarming, sad at times [jeez, i must have cried at least 3 times], the characters are so cute and lovable, and it's inspiring. i wish it was more than 16 episodes long, i want to know what happens in their future~

but it's a good thing that we watched the last 4 episodes in one sitting since the cliffhangers were agonizing! like, i'd be on the edge of my seat checking the subber's website every hour just to see if they've updated or not to finally find out what happens next XD

there's pollen EVERWHERE! it's so gross. i mean, when we were driving to the store and stuff, we'd pass by cars covered in yellow dust and it'd look so nasty; you know which cars have been outside or not.

and at school today, at the area outside on the sidewalk where we wait for the bus, the ground was covered in yellow. it's so eww... and the umbrellas at the top of the tables were covered in it too. one guy who rides my bus made the umbrella close and there was this yellow dust cloud that puffed out when it closed.

and now it's 10 and i'm tired. i havent been getting much sleep lately and i really do need it, so i'm gonna go...

night~

restless

i want to go for a walk but i know i cant. it's past midnight and shelle's still awake and i'm pretty sure she wont let me go out in the middle of the night by myself.

plus, i dont know what'll happen if i left the house without telling anyone cuz the alarm's already on and it makes a loud noise when you turn it off or on.

but yeah, i cant sleep (not that i was really trying tho... -__-"). i feel hot. i want to feel the wind blow me away like it did earlier today when i was walking home.

i had to babysit my cousins today (well, technically yesterday but whatever) but i had already made plans to go watch the new alice in wonderland movie with my friends at 4, so mommy said that i could just drop them off at our house and she'd watch them while i went out, but due to some misunderstandings, i couldnt go [god that woman infuriates me so much sometimes].

sydney called earlier to tell when she was going to pick me up, but my mom somehow answered saying that she'd drive me there so sydney didnt come pick me up at 3:30 like she said in her call and i didnt find out about it until around 4 when i called her to ask where she was cuz the movie was starting in 15 minutes!

and then it was too late to do anything since my mom couldnt take me there since she was supposed to babysit! god, it just made me so mad.

why cant my parents be freaking NORMAL and get me a cell phone? it would save me so much time and effort and anger.

i mean, one reason why i'm always reluctant to go over to the primary school for the big brother big sisters thing is cuz i usually have no idea where my mom is picking me up since the place is packed with cars waiting to pick up their kids at the end of the day.

i dont like standing around in the middle of the grass where she usually parks, trying to figure out where she is and not knowing where to go, looking stupid and lost and confused and drained cuz it's the end of the day and i want to just go home and take a nap and not worry about school and it's horrors like tests and homework.

i was okay with not having a phone in the past when i didnt need it, when we lived in the country and there wasnt really a point in having one cuz i couldnt go anywhere without anyway.

but here, in the city where i have lots of after school clubs and places to go to, i NEED a phone. cuz i'm tired of always running to my friends to use theirs or walking all over the place looking to use a phone.

i want to get out. i've been watching or reading stuff on my laptop in my bed for the last 7-8 hours. i need to move around and i want - i want to go running. i havent done that since the summer.

i think i'm still ticked off with mommy. we havent talked all night since i yelled down the stairs that i wasnt going to the movies and basically saying that it's because of her. i closed my door, put my earplugs in, and watched 2 and a half movies on my laptop after that.

i finally left my room around 8 to eat dinner and she was downstairs doing stuff in the kitchen. we didnt say anything the whole time and it was quiet. and then i went back upstairs to finish watching Underworld 2.

i finished readint The Demon's Lexicon by Sarah Rees Brennan today while i was babysitting. it was really different and interesting from other fantasy books with demons and magicians. the main character was really different from the stereotypical protagonist and it really sucked me in. plus, there were alot of twists in it, too. i really wasnt expecting to find out what he was at the end. i cant wait to read the next book coming out, i think, next month.

dood, i just found the UK covers for the trilogy and they look SO much cooler than the US's version! i mean, look: US

UK

and the UK sequel cover looks way better, too. at least they got Mae's hair color right (she dyed her hair pink).

US

UK

CONCLUSION: the UK verions are so much better looking. in my opinion :P

and i finished reading half of Elizabeth Scott's The Unwritten Rule by the time i decided to stop and go to bed [that was an hour ago].

i love her books and her writing style. it always gets me and i usually finish reading her books in one or two days cuz i have to finish it because it's that good and absorbing. i've only read two other books from her and they were all great. the first one was Bloom and the other was Perfect You.

she's my favorite author when it comes to chick lit books that are just about girls and doesnt include magic, action, or fantasy. and Sarah Dessen, too. her books are really good, too.

and now i've run out of steam and am a little itty bitty bit cold.

so good night/morning to all. i'm finally hitting the hay.

the last day before breaks are always fun

you're more likely to have a party in at least one class, and you get to goof off in at least another class.

today was pretty good. i only had to do work in first period and third period. i only had to do a worksheet in first period cuz we had a sub, but it was really quick and easy.

and in third period, i spent the whole period doing the work he assigned us and was given a bunch of homework to do over the break. i hate AP, he always gives us a chapter test to do over our breaks.

i didnt have to do work in 2nd period cuz she wasnt here and just left our class to finish up yesterday's assignment which i was nearly done with anyways.

in 4th period, mr. givens had to leave halfway through the class so he just let us hang out. he even let people in our class go to different classes for the rest of the period. like, he let ashliegh go to theater.

and our sub dood let us chill and even told us jokes. it was funny cuz the entire middle of our class had left and monica noticed that our class was segregated. all of the white people in the class were on the other side of the classroom while all of the minorities were on our side, and the middle of the room was empty to make it stand out even more. :P

and while we were talking and the sub was telling us jokes, the white ppl on the other side of the room were all doing each others' hair. they were in a line with one person playing with another person's hair sitting in front of them. it was funny cuz they kind of resembled monkeys in a line picking bugs out of each others' hair. i took a picture of them for them.

and then at lunch, i found out that aliesha skipped today cuz today was senior skip day. i didnt know what happened to sydney tho, she wasnt there yesterday either. but shanice brought one of her friends over, so it wasnt lonely. :P his name's chris and he's portuguese.

then, in latin after lunch, we had a mini party cuz some people brought food to share. it was really fun. we were supposed to watch an educated video, but magistra let us choose to watch it at another time and just let us chill if we wanted which is what everyone chose. of course.

and i finally got to try the copic markers rachel got for her birthday. they are AMAZING!! they color so good! i can see why they're so freaking expensive and why everyone raves about them. :P

i want some now. but it's like, $4-5 for ONE marker. so expensive!

in math, since i made a 98 on my test on wednesday, i chose not to retake it (no one made a 100 in my class, i got the highest score! XD) and i was the only one to do that. since i had finished reading my book in 2nd period, i had nothing to do, so i drew for the rest of the period.

oh yeah! i was SO close to getting a 100 on that test! i got 2 points off cuz i forgot to put the +- sign before the 3i on the last problem! i was so mad at myself cuz i realized that i forgot to do that 2 minutes after i turned my test in on wednesday.

and i spent 2 hours the night before studying for it. i did most of the practice problems from the worksheets he gave us to study for it. i covered a whole page front and back and a third of a 2nd page doing them all. it looked cool.

evidence of my studying XD sucks that it's all blurry tho

public bathrooms look icky. i had to go to the potty right before 7th period started, and because we were in the library for that class, the nearest bathroom was right across from the entrence to the library. the library is right in the area leading to the lunchroom, so the bathroom there is the most used. and yeah... you can definitely tell.

but a funny thing that i read while getting up from using the toilet in there, was this message that someone wrote on the stall door. it said, "i think i lost my faith" and someone replied saying, "check the lost and found." that made me smile :D

and then in 7th period, i had finished all of my work yesterday, so i had the period to kill. i ended up doing some of my AP homework and going on the computer for a bit, and just goofing off.

and so the school day has ended and my spring break has finally started XD

i just finished reading Rebel Angels by Libba Bray. it's the sequel to A Great and Terrible Beauty and like, 200 pages longer (it was so thick!) and it was just as great as the first one.
but man, sometimes, i just want to smack some of the girls. they're just so stupid for even doing that even though they know that some things are inevitable. but then again, i can sympathize with them, because when you're alone in that one thing, you cant but help to want that something no matter how impossible it is.

i cant wait to read the last book of the trilogy, The Sweet Far Thing. definitely want to see how it ends.

and i finished reading The Awakening by Kelley Armstrong this morning. it's the sequel to The Summoning and is the 2nd book in the Darkest Powers series.
in my opinion, The Awakening is wayy better than The Summoning. there was so much more action and plot twists and suspense in the sequel than the first book. The Awakening sucked me into it much quicker and longer than The Summoning did. now i cant wait to read the third book, The Reckoning. it's coming out in a few weeks.

and i finished reading Blue is for Nightmares Laurie Faria Stolarz on monday. man, this book was very hard to put down. it was a suspenseful thriller that made me quickly read each page trying to figure out who the stalker was.
i finished reading the last few pages of it in 3rd period, but i had read the whole 2nd half of the book in 2nd period when we had a code yellow which was a drug search i found out an hour later on the announcements. we had to wait in our classrooms for an hour and our teacher blocked almost everything fun, so i decided to read during the whole time.

i dont remember having a drug search last year. but then again, i forgot alot of stuff from last year. but it's like every month, we have some drill whether it be a fire drill or tornado drill.

the subs for the last episodes of god of study are finally out!! it's been out since earlier this week but both shelle and i were too busy to watch them. i so cant wait to watch it now that i've finally got free time! we havent watched the last 4 episodes and i'm dying to see what happens!

i cant believe that it's only 16 episodes. it seems like it could go on much longer. but maybe not since it'll prolly end at the part where they see if they get into the university they're aiming for or not.

and now for some 2PM pics cuz they're all i have for now and they are adorable. it's from a fanmeeting or something.

PS: i love how i actually have someone at school who i can talk about kpop with :D

that's it for today. i'm going to get some dinner now :P
ta~
