i really dont know what to say

on the 1st, this tuesday, someone that i knew was stabbed to death. his name was vu, i was never really close to him since our families hardly ever got to see each other (i hadnt seen him in years), and he was 7-8 years older than me anyways. but vi and leanne from FL were really close to him and his siblings, so i know that it really hurt them.

vu was killed at a bakery because of a jealous or possessive ex of his current girlfriend. the articles say that there was an argument at first but things got worse where the ex pulled out a knife and stabbed vu 7 times in the chest (got that info from mommy). luckily, the bastard turned himself in to the police later on and is in jail now.

i really dont know what to say or feel. i mean, this is the first [and i hope will be the only] time that someone that i know died. but i barely even remember vu, i was never close to him; i remember going over to their house one time for a party or something, but it's pretty vague.

and you know how i posted something a couple of months ago about vi's dad having a heart attack after mowing the lawn? well, it wasnt vi's dad, it was vu's.

i feel so sorry for their family. first they lose their dad, and now they lost a brother. vu's funeral is this saturday. mommy said that she and daddy will prolly go; vi and leanne's families are going.

i've only went to a funeral once, and that was when i was little, prolly around 5-8. all i remember was following shelle, an, and quy around the place getting money to buy bags of hot fries out of the vending machine. and people standing around outside during the cremation part; i remember an old woman crying.

that funeral, i didnt really know who died. i'm kinda glad i'm not going to this funeral either. i didnt really know vu, and i dont really want to stand around being awkward and watching people cry and talk about him, and pretend to understand what they mean cuz i have no clue how he used to be.

earlier this week, shelle and i had already made plans to go christmas shopping this weekend (we didnt tell the 'rents, they know by now to not even bother asking us if we wanna go anywhere with them) since she's gonna be busy studying for her finals for the rest of the 2 weeks before christmas break; i dont even want to think about it anymore.

i'll update everything else later. i cant believe thanksgiving was only a week ago, it already feels like a long time has passed.

[some] THANKSGIVING NEWS, NINJA ASSASSIN, JAE, stuffid

so, i actually have an hour or 2 to blog about my whole thanksgiving break and fangirling and stuffid, but i really dont feel like it and the post would be extremely long with all of the pictures and videos. so i figured that i'd just post all of the random news i've been accumulating for the past week and a half first, and then write about my experiences later (in more detail if i even bother summerizing ^^").

this is mainly because i have a bajillion tabs opened up, am downloading alot of things, and my desktop is more than halfway full of pics and other stuff. meaning, my laptop is slowing down and will prolly crash or do something stupid ...eventually.

i found a site a while ago that had hundreds of wallpapers, so i've got alot now. ^__^

anyways, thanksgiving was fun at grandma's. everyone came over for a party meaning that i got to see martin, tommy and steven's cute little bro. i brought the camcorder along, too, to try and get nicole since she always managed to avoid our super old, super slow camera, and we ended up filming alot of the usual randomness of grand-kids (almost everyone was camwhoring tho, which i kinda expected since they always camwhore the camera).

but the night before, shelle and i slept over at megan and nicole's new house. we decided to wake up early to go watch ninja assassin cuz it just came out that day, but we already missed the last showing. so we decided to stay over at megan's place and go to the first showing on thanksgiving cuz grandma was having a get-together and we didnt want to miss too much of it.

the first showing was at 11:50 and we didnt get carded or anything when we got the tickets :D we were 20 minutes early and shelle wanted to leave to get something to eat since we didnt have breakfast yet (everything else in the mall was closed) but we wasted time going around the parking lot (megan can drive and has her own car) and realized that there was no fast food place near and the movie was starting REALLY soon, so we went right back to the movie theater.

ninja assassin was pretty awesome. i might be a little biased tho, since i got to see joon and hear his engrish XP but yeah, the beginning and how the girl survived in the end were kinda lame. but the fight scenes were amazing.

and i couldnt help laughing a little when joon said, "you shouldnt do dat." cuz he said that on a radio show one time and it was just adorable. even tho he was bald in the movie, he was still good looking :3

then i find out that the boy playing the role as little raizo (rain) is mini-jaejoong! he played the younger version of jae in their balloons mv a while back. and he appeared as little shinki on star king with the rest of the younger versions of DBSK.

i cant believe that the little boy was also korean! i mean, the producer/directer auditions hundreds of people from other asian countries! so i cant believe that all of rain's younger versions were already well-known koreans!

i wonder what nationality the girls are...

a pic of them all. i still cant believe it's mini-jae, tho. i hardly recognize him.


also, we (nicole, megan, shelle, and i) found a little shop that sells authentic korean cds! we were at the Super H Mart, this big korean store, kinda like the Farmers Market our parents go to (it's a big asian store that alot of viets go to) when shelle said that she wanted to go to the bakery outside on the other side of the plaza.

i think the whole place is called a plaza, it's basically the shape of a square with one side an opening to come in or out and the other sides lined up with stores (most written in hangul). the H Mart is right in the middle cuz it's so huge and the bakery was on one of the sides.

so after we bought our snacks, we walked to the bakery. we got near an open door about halfway through the side when i noticed that there was a shinhwa poster on it. so i was like, let's go in, there's a poster of a boy band on the door!

the place was kinda small and cramp from all of the merchandise; it reminded me of the small anime store james brought shelle and i to when we were in california.

but yeah, they had all of the latest idol cds there: mirotic, 2NE1, sorry sorry, heartbeaker, 1:59, genie, and some other ones. but they were super expensive and i could get them half of their price on yesasia.

they had some posters, but none of the bands that i loved. they only had one poster remotely to a band that i liked and that was a big bang poster from a concert, and you couldnt even see their faces on it.

and there were alot of other stuff there, too. bags, plushies, a giant stuffed hello kitty, umbrellas, notebooks, dvds, etc.

but nothing screamed at me to buy (except for some cds, but i held myself back XD), so i didnt get anything. maybe when i have more money, i'll come back and get something.

oh yeah, the first thing that happened when we were in there, was that i recognized that the song that was playing was hongki's version of still-as ever from you're beautiful! i couldnt believe it! and the last song that we heard when we finally left was a song from 2PM!

it just made me like the store even more. even tho we dont even know what the store's called since the sign was written in hangul -__-"

a few days ago, taecyeon got a bloody note written from a girl's period. that was so disgusting. you can read the whole thing (and see the pictures) at allkpop; it's already gotten more than a thousand comments.

the note basically said that she dedicated her period to taecyeon, written with it's juices. *gag*

what made it worse was that the crazed fan even uploaded a picture of her pad as proof when people started saying that she was lying that the letter was written with her menstrual juices.

i really dont know what to say other than, some fans are too obsessed. it's beyond weird. it's disturbing.

you're beautiful's over! i watched the last episode at grandma's with shelle and nickel. i cant believe it's over already. i hope they make a sequel or something.

but, now i can start watching iris, which has TOP as a hot assassin in it. krista's already starting watching it and she's hooked. the 1st season's almost over tho, but they already announced that there's gonna be a season 2, so alot of ppl arent mourning yet :P

and then i found out that jae turned down being a cast for it! man, do you know how awesome that would be if he was also gonna be in it?! and if he turned out to be an assassin, too?! man, he'd be one hot killer. i mean, look at this guy.

i could of sworn that i had a pic of him holding a gun from taegoon's music video, but i guess i cant find it. anyways, just imagine this piece of hotness holding a gun. he wouldnt even need to do anything but tell you to kill yourself for the job to be finished XD

has heaven's postman been subbed yet? i really wanna watch it! jae looks awesome!



The Wallflower aka Perfect Girl Evolution is being made into a drama! and KAT-TUN's Kazuya Kamenashi is gonna play the lead role. i'm not that into KAT-TUN, but i've seen a couple of dramas some of their members were in, and they were pretty good. so i'm excited to watch it, since i've already watched half of the anime with my sis and cousins a year or 2 ago (yeah, it's been a while -__-" but i still remember it! XD). it airs on jan 15th; gotta remember that.

and this made me sad. jae shouldnt cry. the MAMA (mnet asian music awards, they changed it from MKMF - mnet korean music festival) was not as great as last year. trot singers, SM, and some other groups boycotted it so alot of awards were given to groups who didnt really deserve it, jae was still missing even tho he deserved to be there, and jaechunsu attended and received an award on the behalf of DBSK which really pissed SM off.

on a lighter note, f(x)'s amber looks alot like many male idols, lol. she's compared to SHINee's jonghyun, SUJU's donghae and kibum (in some pics), and now, even DBSK's mickey.

going to grandma's tomorrow!

i'm so excited! i havent been up there since forever. the last time i got to see everyone was shelle's graduation this summer, and that was for a very short time. the last time i got to visit them up in gwinnett was prolly very early this year or last year. so i cant wait :D

also, we (the older cousins, nicole and megan, and shelle and i) are hoping/planning on going to watch ninja assassin when it comes out later this week. gotta support rain and joon! :D

my break officially started when school let out last friday, but shelle still has to go to college today. she was supposed to have a class tomorrow, but it got canceled (lucky!). so we get to go to grandma's a day early! XD

shelle and i are hoping for for letting shelle drive the two of us to grandma's instead of having our dad take us up there cuz he always gives these long lectures about our future and college and stuff.

i mean, i love him, but every time we have dinner together (not much, but still) he's always asking or telling me what i should do when i grow up since i've still been undecided. they told me that i better have an idea what sort of profession i want to do by the end of this school year, since next year i've got early applications and stuffid.

i still dont know what i want to do and i dont want to think about it either. especially since they've already decided on what they want me to do. they want me to be an engineer cuz there arent that many layoffs and i can just stay home and work on the base near home. or daddy wants me to be a lawyer or doctor.

but anyways, it'd be easier and better for the both of us (shelle and i) if she just drove us there since we can have easy access to a car to go to the movies or mall when we're up there.

actually, i feel pretty accomplished. :D i already packed my clothes and know a relative gist of what other stuff to bring (laptop, manga for them to read, brush, etc...). i'm debating on bringing the camera (supremely old and takes blurry pics all the time) or bringing the camcorder cuz that sounds funner, or both.

but i'm still procrastinating. i've got to read this story which i will have a quiz on the first day back, and i've got to read the next chapter in world history and answer the take home quiz (it's actually the chapter test but he's just gonna grade it as a quiz grade) of it for AP world history.

and apparently, we had EOCT's when we get back, too. >:( i thought that we'd get study guides or something for those? or is it only for finals?

so yeah, i dunno when's the next time i'll be able to update since i'll be doing last minute homework next sunday and be busy cramming for the EOCT's after that ^^"

my addictions

i cant wait for someone to sub heaven's postman! i mean, jae's in it! and the girl doesnt look unlikeable from what i can see.

and another drama that i'm currently hooked on right now is you're beautiful/minami. the main guy was the main guy from these 2 movies i watched last year and really liked and hongki from ft island is one of the main guys in there, too (HE'S SO CUTE!!)

basically, it's about this girl who's a sister in training who has to impersonate her twin brother to join a super famous band called A.N.JELL for a while cuz her bro's in surgery in america. alot of hilarity and crazyness ensues.

the first episode or two kinda got me irritated because of the way she acted and just cuz of some of the unbelievable plot at times (i mean, if it was in the real world, everyone would of found out that she was a girl just by the way she walks and acts!), but after a while, all of the characters grew on me, and i was dying waiting to see what happened next. i'm so addicted. this is why i usually wait until a drama series is completely out and subbed, so i dont hafta wait for it so bad.

unfortunately, there's only 16 episodes and i've already watched up to ep 11, so altho i'm dying to watch the next ep (ohmygod, the ending part has got me going crazy thinking about what's going to happen to shinwoo!), i'm kinda sad since it's almost over.

anyways, you can watch this amazing drama over at Pyrite5ive's youtube account. they sub it really quick and it's in HD, too :D

anyways, last weekend, i went out with shelle and some of her friends (christina, tawanda, and amanda). we went out to the new china buffet and shelle said that she'd pay for me (mommy gave her $40 to spend on me right before we left the house).

we got seated in a corner of the room and our waiter guy basically ignored/forgot about us the whole time we were there. we waited at least half an hour trying to get his attention to give us the bill. when chris finally went up to the register to ask about our bill, they explained to her that we got the new guy and we finally got our check. we didnt give him a big tip, which i kinda feel bad about now since he was new and all.

and then we went to the mall afterwords. we only went to hot topic and pacsun, which was good enough for me. i ended up getting a couple of shirts, a hat and some buttons. i like this one that has a picture of a ninja head and says "mental ninja." :P

and then, on this saturday, krista came over for a bit to hang out and give me my birfday present; it was the knowing DVD that i wanted to watch.

i forgot to tell you, she got a boyfriend! it's this guy that she was telling me about earlier who was a bigger anime freak than we were who also had some gazette songs on his ipod. krista is a huge gazette fan so she started freaking out when she saw that he had some songs.

after she told me about that, i kinda had an inkling about what was gonna happen eventually :P so yeah, she asked him out on facebook eventually. oh yeah, he's mexican, but she said that he totally acts white. but she loves listening to him or anyone speaking another language XD

anyways, so yeah, she came over when i was in the middle of watching you're beautiful, so i had to tell all about it cuz it's so addicting and good. and i had to show her jeremy (hongki's character) and jolie, his dog who he named angelina jolie, cuz he's so cute with her!

so yeah, i told her to watch it when she has time cuz the episodes are around an hour long.

and then we talked and watched stuffid on youtube, then went to the vietnamese store with shelle cuz my mom needed something for dinner. we spent at least half an hour there trying to find a snack that krista would prolly enjoy. in the end, i got the umbrella cookies, these fruit circle thingers that shelle and i ate alot of when we were little but hadnt had in a long time, and krista got a mango nectarine drink.

then we went to BAM afterwords and loitered around. shelle found some manga that she really needed to get for her series (we were there and host club), and bribed me into getting her credit card out of her car by buying me a book. so i got her to buy me shadow kissed, what i thought was the 2nd book to this vampire series i read a few months ago.

i started reading it this morning at school and found out in 1st period, that it was the 3rd book to the series. since i had business essentials, i have my own computer to use, so i looked it up on there.

i'm debating on whether to just keep on reading it or waiting until i get the 2nd book. i think i'll just keep on reading it and read the 2nd one when i get the chance to go buy it (i should remember the title to it now -__-). i mean, it's not one of the series that i'm crazy about (or else i would of bought them all already), so i dont really care about reading it out of order since it basically says what happened in the last book in it already.

can you believe it's already fall, but i'm still wearing shorts around the house? it still feels like summer except it's a little bit cooler. it's not even that windy! what the hell?! i was waiting forever for fall to come but there's hardly a difference! winter better be colder AND windier than what fall feels like now. >:|

now to the boy bands! :D

i cant wait to watch ninja assassin! altho it's rated R, i'm not too worried about it since shelle and megan are 18 already. i read a review that said that it was basically action and alot of blood, but i dont really mind. i mean, joon's gonna play the younger version of rain in it. but he's gonna be blind and blindfolded so you dont even know who he is unless you're a fan. oh well XP

i'm really sad about the whole DBSK thing. i mean, it really looks like their gonna break up. and then i read these templates about the entertainment industry's view on the dispute and it just makes me so sad. i mean, DBSK is the best. they were probably at the peak of their fame and influence, being recognized not just as idols, but as amazing singers and entertainers. and then, at the time when they could of taken over all of asia as the best (well, they were already proving this true, but you know what i mean, they could of really taken the asian world by storm) this had to happen.


i finally changed my desktop background (had the same one for a whole year) to this:
i felt like i had to support them in some way. i really, really hope things turn out okay.
