I loved Zhou Chenxi's poisonous chicken soup and his overall enthusiasm about everything! He was a cute ray of sunshine who was just trying to escape his fate and be a salted fish! His family dynamics with his older brother was also super cute and funny lol.

MY REVIEW: 

This was an interesting spin on transmigration and how the past plays a big part of the plot. I really liked how the book handled yandare characters and how he has to learn to be restrained and compromise to be in a healthy relationship. I also love Gu Wang's sticky friendship with Shen Zhao and Song Zhiyan. These are ride or die bros for a lifetime! I'm glad their lives also improved for the better.

This was super fluffy! If you're a cat maniac like Gu Yan, then you'll love this book. If you like possessive, clingy characters, then you're going to love the ML. Also, if you like the author's other works like The King's Game and I'm Not Human, which has a sweet, doting relationship amongst the plot, then you'll like this book.
