Today has been pretty good! :) I just hope that the whole weekend will stay this way.
Marketing was pretty interesting since we were talking about segmentation and giving examples of how companies used it. She even showed us some interesting videos and ads to make her point, lol.
On Wednesday, Jay asked our class if we wanted to have class on Friday, so of course everyone said no, so Marketing was my only class today. :D
I didn't get to eat lunch with Meethu since she had to finish her electrical homework before class. Instead, I read a lot of fluffy Sterek fics, lol, and talked to a girl about Divergent and whether or not I should read the book before the movie comes out since she was already halfway through the book.
I'm MC-ing for the Macon Film Festival later tonight, so I really should have worked on my proposal instead of reading fanfics and blogging, but I had errands to run, and Marc's going to drop me off in 10 minutes, so... I'll work on it Sunday when I get home. :P
But yeah! I'm taking Groome tomorrow to Atlanta so Shelle and I can hangout before going to the Emblem3 concert at night! She bought us tickets to the concert for Christmas, lol. I'm excited because this will be my first real concert; I don't count Bearstock as my first concert just because. :P
Then I'm taking Groome home on Sunday, so yeah, hopefully I'll finish all of my homework by then because my boss called me a few hours ago to schedule next week's schedule, and if we win all of the upcoming basketball games, I'm working from Tuesday through Thursday and maybe Sunday if I feel like it.
Anyway, I gotta go! Got things to do! :D

made an awesome powerpoint :D
With all of the cramming I did Monday and Tuesday night, I think I did pretty well on my test today. :) I only wasn't sure about seven or eight questions out of 45.
I also finished my two-page research paper on David Carson for art and just finished making the PowerPoint presentation to go along with my oral presentation for him tomorrow. Not gonna lie, I was really regretting choosing him to do my project on since I had no idea how to design a poster in his art style, but making the PowerPoint was super fun and easy since his style is all over the place and intentionally partly illegible.
Check out some of my slides! I'm actually kind of excited to present tomorrow, lol.
Anyway, I wanted to talk about the poster thing that happened yesterday, but I'm tired from waking up early at 6:30 this morning for no reason (still not sure if it was because of the rain or what) and deciding to start studying around 7:30 since I couldn't go back to sleep after waking up again at that time. :/
So hopefully I'll get around to that later because I'm really motivated to make some awesome posters for my friends, lol. I just need to work on my Photoshop and Illustrator skills some more.

Top Ten Tuesdays: Series I'd Like to Start, but Haven't Yet
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by the Broke and Bookish.
This week is a rewind topic, which means that I get to pick from previous topics that I want to do again or may have missed. I chose this topic because I don't think I've done it yet. I'm going to count trilogies just because I have so many that I want to start. :P

i'm exhausted
I don't know why my body likes to wake me up an hour earlier than my alarm every day, but it's really not helping me catch up on sleep. Granted, I usually stay up until 1:30-2 every morning, so this just might be karma.
I just want to fall in bed and sleep.
But really, this has been an eventful weekend, but it was no where near as productive as it should have been. I knew the puppies were going to be a big distraction...
I honestly thought that I would accomplish more homework having a study group with my friends the next day compared to me trying to study alone. Yeah... I think I got the same amount of work done if I had studied by myself, which isn't much on weekends. But still, I REALLY needed to study, because there is still a shitload of stuff that I need to memorize by Wednesday, and I am not prepared.
Plus, I also have to have my proposal done by Wednesday in addition to work on a flyer for a presentation we're having next Wednesday. Also, I have to meet up with B to start training for my new job, and I don't know how long and how many days that's going to take. I'm meeting up with her later today when I really need to study. D:
Wednesday just needs to be over already. I'm exhausted just thinking about all that I need to do. This week needs to be over already; there's so much going on. I've got a research paper due on Thursday in addition to work, and I'm volunteering at the Macon Film Festival after my last class on Friday, too.
My only respite will be on Saturday when I go to the Emblem3 concert with my sis. And now I'm already having problems on how to get go to Atlanta... which I don't want to talk about.
Ugh, everything's exhausting.
Actually, I've just been exhausted all day. :/ I kept on almost falling asleep in all of my classes.
I really need a nap, but I really need to study. D:

Mason and Willow (Probably)
We got two puppies yesterday! One of my dad's friends was giving them away, so we got to choose two of them. We ended up getting a boy and a girl, and they're so adorable, it's not even funny. They're a dotson-chihuahua mix, so they're gonna be pretty small. I mean, the puppies are super tiny and adorable.
So itty bitty! XD |
We're thinking of naming the boy Mason and the girl Willow. Mason doesn't have a deeper meaning, but we were kind of leaning towards Willow because Shelle noticed that she kind of had a tear running down her eye when we were trying to take pictures of the two.
We're still not totally sure if that's what we're going to name the two. Mason is probably going to stick, but I'm not sure about Willow since I don't think my mom can pronounce it. :/
But the only way we could tell Willow apart from the other puppies was her eyebrows, lol. Mason was the only male left that they were giving away, so it wasn't difficult finding him out of the litter.

I took a bunch of snapchats and invited my friends over and told them to bring their dogs, too, so we my backyard was full of dogs last night, lol. Too bad none of them stayed still enough for me to take a picture. :P
Shanice only brought one of her dogs, so she sent a snapchat of her newest puppy, Max, which was hilarious.
And here's a bad pic of Sophie because she would not stop moving. And drooling, lol.
And now I really need to study. Jackie and Shanice are over right now for a study group/accountability thing so that we actually get some work done before rewarding ourselves by going thriftshopping, lol.

my old journaling days...
I saw this pic on Tumblr, and it reminded me of my old journaling days, lol.
Man, how old was I when I first started writing in the back pages of old notebooks before eventually upgrading to spiral bound notebooks bought for the sole purpose of writing down everything happening in my life at the time? And then I eventually decided to start a blog right before I moved to Warner Robins... XD
Anyway, the picture reminded me of my old journal entries because I used to describe my mood using various shades of blue. Like, dark blue would mean that I was in a dark mood. Actually, that isn't completely true; it's hard to explain. But I don't even know why I started it, and I definitely don't remember when I stopped doing it either. I can't believe that I forgot about that part until I saw this picture actually.
Sometimes, when I'm cleaning my room, I'll open my last journal that I have yet to finish filling the pages of and look at past entries, marking the differences in handwriting and events that occurred, and I'll just be in this nostalgic mood for the next couple of hours until something else distracts me.
I try to write in that old journal at least once a year since I have yet to finish filling it up and just because I don't want to completely abandon journaling. I started off writing in notebooks, and I've always liked flipping through the pages, skimming through everything, noticing differences in handwriting and tone. Blogging is great, but there's nothing like holding something tangible and seeing how its grown and changed over the years. Ya know?
Funny thing is that today, while I was driving Meethu home, we were both reminiscing about our middle school days when we both used to write all of the time. I found it hilarious to know that we were both very similar about our writing habits. We both had a notebook full of our stories and so many ideas that we never got around to actually finishing writing a story before having another idea and starting on that. And we always had the plot and characters planned out and everything.
But then high school started and everything was just too busy. :/ At least for me. Also, I think that moving schools and becoming obsessed with Kpop also were the main reasons why I stopped writing. Why create something when you have hilarious Korean boy bands to keep you entertained? :P
But yeah... I wish I had more time to go down memory lane, but I really have to study for my test Management tomorrow. :( I should pay more attention in class, but... you know how it is. :P

Tumblr Pics 45 - The Tired Edition XD
Tuesdays and Thursdays are the worst because I usually don't have time to eat lunch since I have back-to-back classes that last from 10:50-3:00, which usually leaves me drained and hungry. But yeah, I usually get enough time to eat a quick snack before my second class starts so it's not that bad.

another snapchat update
Because not much has happened, and yet I have interesting enough Snapchats. :P
This first pic actually isn't a Snapchat. I just used my phone to take a picture of an example of a tight grid around campus. Marc was with me, so he wanted to be in the picture, which is why you can see his face in the corner pane, lol.
This was taken not long after my last test last week. I was waiting for Meethu to have lunch with and noticed that the light fixture above me looked like an eyeball when I was checking my Snapchats with my phone flat on the table.
Look at those beautiful eyelashes. Wow. Such art. :P
I didn't get to watch Teen Wolf with Jackie and Shanice last Monday because I had to cram for tests, so when I finally got around to watching it on the weekend, I had to stop myself from sending them so many reaction pics because it would have been excessive, lol. But this one seen had me drowning in feels because Stiles.
I had dinner with Lauren Monday night at O'Charley's and had decided to try pickle chips since I heard that they were good. I'm not sure if I heard that O'Charley's pickle chips were great or it was some other restaurant, but I still wanted to try it. I liked it enough. They were a bit more salty than I expected though.
I forgot to take a Snapchat yesterday, but Marc gave me a red carnation for Valentine's Day because he is the bestest bff 5eva. It was just funny because he gave it to me in our Media Law class, which is the class where our professor thinks that we're dating/talking to each other.
It's funny because that Monday, we went to his office to ask to make copies of his notes for class and I told him that Marc and I got rings (there was an event where we could get an engraved ring for free meant as Valentine Day gifts for students; we stood in line for an hour for it) and that we got married, lol.
But yeah, I have no idea if we're ever gonna tell him the truth. XD

Pokemon Pickup Lines
Since it's Valentine's Day, I thought I'd share some of my favorite Pokemon pickup lines that I found at this website. You know why? Because nothing's sexier than using a children's game to make innuendos. XD
Just a warning... some are crude only if you take it that way, lol. If you don't understand them, then you should just stick to innocently playing the games. :P

No classes tomorrow~
The weather strikes again! I might not have classes on Thursday either since it's predicted to be raining/snowing in the morning.
I want to snuggle up in bed with a book and hot chocolate tomorrow morning like in the picture below, but alas, my room is too warm for my liking half of the time to snuggle under the covers, and I have homework to turn in online that I still need to do.
Maybe I can try to do that sometime in the afternoon if I'm not watching anything on Netflix, lol.
Ohhh, I want to watch Frozen again. That, or Rise of the Guardians! They're both such great movies! Plus, I've had "Let It Go" stuck in my head for the longest time, lol.
Did I mention that I ship Jack Frost and Elsa? They're so cute together!Yeah... Tumblr is the main reason why I have ships in the first place, lol. And people come up with the best AU's, too.
Now I've got to finish my last annotated bibliography... :\ After three or four weeks, I'm finally almost finished with it! Then, I can watch last night's newest episode of Intelligence! :D

Making Up For Lost Time? Intelligence, Almost Human, and The Tomorrow People
In my house, we have this rule: no tv on school nights. My siblings and I have always followed this rule, and as a result, I never watched tv that much. When I was a kid, I'd watch cartoons and Disney Channel on the weekend and be good. When I was in high school and my first year of college, I was never really interested in watching tv, but I think that was mainly because I was really into reading, lol.
Really, it was because of this rule that my sis and I got so into reading. :P
But anyway, I can't help but wonder if my new hobby of watching tv shows is also because of this rule. Am I making up for all of the lost time I had of watching tv shows when I was younger? Is it because watching shows is quicker than reading books, and I just am in need of a new hobby now that I've been reading less?
All I know is that this new hobby of mine is kind of getting out of hand, lol. In the past week, I started watching and caught up with three new series: Intelligence, Almost Human, and The Tomorrow People. They're all currently ongoing, so along with all of my other shows I'm currently watching, I'm keeping track of six shows this semester in addition to trying to catch up with even more series like Sherlock and Once Upon a Time.
So along with the shows I mentioned in my last post about shows I'm currently watching, let me talk about the three new shows I just finished catching up on.
Intelligence
I just really like all of the characters in here. They all have their individual quirks and, with five episodes out, I'm slowly getting to know them. Plus, I think Gabriel's ability is pretty cool. :) Also, I really like Gabriel and Riley's chemistry; one scene in that last episode just made me want to be like that "now kiss" meme, lol. It does not help that they are both really attractive people, and I just want them to be attractive together. XD
Almost Human
I think I watched Almost Human right after Intelligence because it had a similar premise, but instead of having technology inside of your mind, you had artificially intelligence robot partners instead. But yeah, I ended up enjoying this series because of its characters and the random, but hilarious comic relief. Also, I can see hints of bromance that is supposed to cater to fangirls, and I'm not totally sure if I ship them or not, lol. I'm kind of sad that this season is almost over already though...
The Tomorrow People
This series is definitely the most dramatic of the three, but that's probably because the main characters are all teenagers who are a hunted species. Can't say I was a big fan of the love triangle near the beginning (because for once, the established pairing was the other two main characters and I wanted it to stay that way!), but with the way that things are going now, I don't even know who to ship anymore, lol. But this definitely an absorbing series, and I'm kind of sad that I didn't just wait until the season was over before starting it, because I would much prefer marathoning it like I did with the first 13 episodes to save myself from the suspense every week.
What's even worse is this insane urge to start another new series. -__-"

Cover Lover 38
Sometime during this morning, my left ear popped or something, and now everything sounds amplified. It's disconcerting. :/
It popped a few times when it first started, but my hearing hasn't returned to normal, and I'm slightly worried. My right ear sounds like it's stuffed since it's not hearing as much as my left ear; it feels odd.
I'm just hoping that this will go away by tomorrow, because it's weird hearing everything so loud.
The funny thing is that I've always been hard of hearing since I've listened to loud music for so long, so I can't even tell if this is what normal hearing is like or not because I'm not used to listening to the slightest details like the sound my feet make when I'm stepping around the house. Or the high-pitched clicking noises my nails make when I type.
