a sleepy day

right now, it's raining with the occasional thunder. it's dark and most likely really humid outside.

i wish i could take a picture, but shelle has stolen my camera earlier in the week, and she won't give it back -__- she said that she'd give it back today, but she still hasn't... >_> but that's prolly cuz she's over at our house while i'm still at the cousins' house babysitting.

i slept around one this morning and woke up around 7:30, and i only had around 6-7 hours of sleep all week, so i'm kinda always sleepy...

on the bright side, the last of my books came in yesterday! [again, i would have token a picture like i promised, but a certain unbearable person has token my camera as hostage :P] i had packages coming in all week; it was really cool!

now there's a big pile of books on the floor cuz i ran out of room to put them on my bookshelf. there's also a pile of death note manga that krista let me borrow last month that i still haven't read, right behind my pile of new books.

actually, krista's coming over tomorrow to hang out for a bit. she's going to come over at 10 which is very shocking if you know her, since she usually wakes up around noon on weekends. but it's cuz she loves me that she's waking up so early, lol XD

we haven't seen each other since the summer some time before shelle and i left for grandma's house. there's much to catch up on :D

right now, i'm trying to catch up on allkpop, finally writing part of Life of the Party [the story emily --from texas-- and i came up with when she came over ages ago], and watching this week's episode of Muisc Bank which is having an international special going on.

be prepared for alot of kpop updates :P

but before that, i wanted to tell you that i'm joining 7 clubs this year. i really don't know why either since i don't have time for them anyway, what with babysitting and AP classes...

anyway, i'm joining: big brother big sister, BETA, FBLA, DECA, latin club, book club, and reel club.

for big bro big sis, i'm not even sure when if i'll get cheyenne again since i have no idea if she moved or not, and i'm not sure if i'll just get a kid during the 2nd semester like last year. either way, i haven't gotten an email about it yet, so i'm not worrying about the time schedule yet.

for BETA, i have to join it since i still haven't got all of the requirements for the national honors society. just because i don't have any leadership positions, geez!

FBLA, i joined that cuz my computer teacher is one of the sponsors and he told us that they did community services, which i need. and this is my 2nd year being in the technical classes so i might as well join.

i really have no reason to join DECA since you have to be in one of ms. browns' class to be in it, but it doesn't really matter if you don't cuz i didn't do it last year either. but i'm just joining cuz sydne and emily are in it and sydne's my ride home anyways.

for latin, you have to be in the latin club to be in the national latin honors society, which i can be in next semester. plus, we have cool parties in there where we get to watch movies, too.

i joined book club cuz i like to read [even tho i don't have any time to do any besides reading out of text books] and i like to talk about books that i've read. plus, i got to meet some pretty cool people at the club. we haven't officially started reading a book yet --it starts at next week's meeting-- so we've been getting on pointless topics and stuff :D

and i wanted to join reel club since last year, but i didn't know anyone who would be in it with me, so i didn't join. but this year, shanice is going to join [she had the same problem last year, too, lol] with me so yeah...besides, the club sponsor, mr. godfrey, is my graphics teacher, so i already get firsthand info on what the club does and stuff.
the reel club meets once a month at night to watch and discuss about the movie [they're all classics. the first movie they're showing next week is a Beatles movie] and we get an unlimited supply of popcorn for being a member.

the club also gets to go to ATL and shop at the Linux mall every year. i don't know how that ties into the reel club, but whatever works. altho i've already been to that mall when shelle and i went to our grandma's house, and it wasn't that great. it had alot of big expensive brand name stores in it that didn't really interest me. if they go during a school day [which they most likely are], then i prolly can't go anyway since i don't want to get behind in my classes.

taeyang's international album came out this week! even tho it only has 3 songs in english, shelle and i have already agreed to buy the real album cuz it's worth it. i made sydne listen to his english version of I'll Be There, and she really liked it. she said that if i hadn't told her, she wouldn't have known that he was asian XD

and his music video of it is AWESOME. i love how there's an english and korean version XD

korean version

english version

and if you didn't bother watching either videos, these pics should convince you XD

the group choreography is really amazing, too. you should watch the live performances.

i really like jaejoong. his style and the way he looks in general is always amazing. some airport pics of jae and yoochun.

i really think that cassiopeia is the best fan club out there. they're seriously amazing. even after a year of hardship, they don't give up on their idols and they're still supporting them, waiting for the day when DBSK will be together again.

this is an account of a mom to cassiopeia. i really liked it, and i think that the mother is true. we've grown from this experience and we're going to always keep the faith.
Hello everybody. I am a mother of a Cassiopeia and this was written quite a while ago...

My daughter pretty much never switches off her computer, she spends all day every day on Korean sites or here on Baidu, surfing the web.
I'm sure there are a lot of people here who like TVXQ as much as my daughter does, if not more.

My daughter is 16 years old. Back when she was 12 years old, I remember he buying a TVXQ album and sneaking it home. Four years have passed and many things have happened…

Ah.. My daughter, sometimes she sits in her room crying, other times laughing. Whenever we're sat around the table at dinner, she'll jabber on and on about TVXQ, about Yunho to me and her dad. It's almost as though she's gone insane.
Every now and then, she'll talk to me about going to Korea for days and days. I remember her telling me you fans were organizing some kind of group dance this summer? (flashmob) When she was young, we used to send her everywhere and pick her up afterwards. She rarely goes on public transport because our home is simply too far away from the city. I still remember her excitement when I agreed to let her go to practice sessions for the flashmob. Her father said 'Will you be dancing to songs of TVXQ? Don't muck up and embarrass yourself~' I nearly laughed.
That morning, she went off with her friends to catch the bus and still hadn't come home after 6. I panicked. She wasn't picking up her phone, and it wasn't until 7 that she was finally home. Her father said in relief 'I thought you wouldn't be able to make it, but you managed to get back yourself' And from then on, she went to dance practices every week, and sometimes she'd even practice in front of us. I've never seen her take anything so seriously before.
I remember once last year, when we were having dinner, she was arguing over something with her dad… I think it was about TVXQ. She said she wasn't going to eat and was absolutely fuming. I kept asking, but she paid no attention to me. In the end, I found out that she'd wanted to see TVXQ in Shanghai.
In early April this year, I noticed how she seemed to always be in a bad mood, I honestly thought she was suffering from depression~~ When I brought it up, she told me 'TVXQ's activities have been suspended' through sobs~ Her dad heard and commented 'Have they disbanded? I told you idol groups don't last for long.' Something in my daughter's eyes changed and she started screaming at her dead. Screaming and crying her heart out all at the same time. 'Who says they're disbanding?!'
To all you fans, maybe you love TVXQ as much as my daughter does. Maybe they're the first thing you think of. You're people who are willing to sacrifice so much, everything, for TVXQ.. People have told my daughter that she'll stop liking them once she's older, that she's only interested because they're young and handsome, but she insists that it's because of their talent, of their charm~~
In being a fan, I hope you treat your idol as your motivation and target so that you're able to achieve the things you want in life.
As fans, I hope you're able to make your idols proud. TVXQ are great kids, I thought it was just an infatuation at first, but now I sincerely believe in faith and determination. Please continue to protect your idols!
Don't forget: In protecting those you love, you must also work towards making yourself a better person and make your idols proud.
There are lots of you out there who are high school students, university students or even working adults. Please be the best you can be and keep your faith for TVXQ. Loving someone is no simple feat, you'll understand when you grow older. But watching you guys and seeing your love for them has made me realized how much you've grown as a result of this fandom. You've all really matured.
Finally, I'd like to thank TVXQ and to thank you Cassies (is that what you're called?) You've really helped my daughter along the way. She's changed so much. She now knows the meaning of determination, of faith and belief. Everybody hwaiting!

and this is a SHINee fan account of SMTown that talks about yuhno, changmin, and cassiopeia along with the adorable SHINee boys. it's very touching XP
After everything that happened yesterday, the shock of being at the live concert, the heartache, the wonderful heartwarming moments, and then seeing all the photos and videos, there are so many emotions that I honestly dont' know how to express. I wanted to start writing something last night, but I really didn't know how to start. That night, I was in awe, not only by our kids, but also Yunho and Changm and the wonderful Cassiopeia and Shawols. Looking back on the videos from 2 years ago, I suddenly realized that our kids have really grown up. They used to run after their hyungs like their beloved dongsaengs, or perhaps they were a source of motivation...

I've always really admired Yunho, the past few years in Korea, everything about him, from his personality to his reputation, everything about him made people who loved him proud. That is why, when I saw the 8 whole banners dedicated to him at the stadium, I wasn't surprised at all. Even when the entire stadium erupted with screams of 'JUNG YUNHO', I wasn't surprised. Someone like him is totally deserving of that kind of love. I really like him as well, because I know that Yunho loves our SHINee, he buys them food and goes to watch their performances to give them support and encouragement, and he and Changmin always play basketball and go bowling with Minho. He brought Jonghyun and Key to dinner to watch the World Cup together, and went to Taemin's dance training sessions despite having to work on his own CFs, magazine shoots and rehearsals. He helped our kids make the perfect 2nd album. He was even their for their comeback stage, going to the venue with them and staying with them backstage...

Knowing that the kids have a hyung like that makes me really happy and completely content. Everything that Yunho endured as the leader of TVXQ, he's spoken to Onew about. He's taught him so much, yes, he's always trying his best to help Onew become an even greater leader than he is. At the same time, he also knows about the burdens and responsibilities he has to shoulder as a leader, and that is why, compared to the 4 other members, he is especially kind to Onew. Only because he knows too well how difficult it is to be in that position and how important it is to show him love and support. Onew, being younger and softer than Yunho needs extra love and protection. This hyung has put so much effort into protection our kids, in the hope that his personal experience will help get them further and make them a better group. This is why, last night, when I saw a tired, quiet and expressionless Yunho exchanging glances with the 5 members; when I saw Onew by his side, Taemin putting his arm around his waist, Minho tugging him along and Jonghyun and Key walking past him over and over again to help cheer him up, I felt content and proud. Huuhuu, I don't know whether it's because I'm too much like a mother, everytime I see the SHINee members showing love for their hyung, I feel a rush of pride. They're kids who really know the meaning of being grateful. Hyung's time and love hadn't been wasted, it's no wonder he likes you all so much.

Yesterday, in the hearts of Cassiopeia who had been waiting for over a year by now, there was bitterness and pain, but more than that, they were proud. Anyone who sees them would be in awe by the love and devotion they've shown towards their idols. Of course, this is because their idols really have made themselves worthwhile of their sacrifices, yet what amazed me most was that whether it be this year's Dream Concert or last night's SMTown concert, Cassiopeia gave TVXQ the same red ocean. Last night, when the big screen started to pay the VCR of HoMin, most of the fanlights had been switched off and I was almost a little shocked. However, in less than a minute, when HoMin descended from above, the stadium which had previously been a sea of various different colours completely transformed in to a red ocean. This kind of scene, whether you're a Cassiopeia or not, it really leaves people completely awestruck or even in tears. I saw lots of Cassiopeia noonas holding onto each other as tears poured out of their eyes. So many of them continued to wave their glow sticks and fan signs even as they were overcome with emotion.

That night, I should've been really happy because SHINee really delivered an amazing performance, they were so adorable and they had such a great time. Yet as I sat amidst the Cassiopeia noonas, I really couldn't help myself from screaming and crying with them. When HoMin's performance ended, they really lost control. If the tears from before had been the result of a year's worth of waiting, of pain, of controversy and of happiness over HoMin's return, then this time, it was simply because they'd lost it. They were in so much pain that they had all completely broken down. We've never heard the two talk about the pain and torment they've endured over the past year, yet we all understand, and that is why so many fans from all over the world have come to support them. In the end, the Yunho fans who were sitting next to me were still mumbling 'what to do what to do, (we) really want to go to the US, to China, to Japan, even if it's only for 6 minutes, 6 minutes is better than nothing, (we) have to go with him.' Some also said that seeing the fans with Bigeast towels who'd come all the way from Japan really hurt them more than anything. At the end of the concert, some of the Yunho fans came over to us Shawols and ELFs and bowed as they thanked us. Eventually, we all started crying with them, aish.

When I got home, I really wanted to see how the fans from China had reacted, of course, everyone was shocked and angry at first, but people slowly started to comfort one another, and I saw lots of words of encouragement from the fans. I was so touched! 'We'll treat it as though the purpose of their appearance was not to dance or to sing, but simply to see those who've missed them and to tell us that they're still protecting TVXQ, it's completely worthwhile.' 'Even though it only lasted 6 minutes and we waited 7 long hours, as long as we're able to catch a glimpse of them and see that they're well, it's enough.' There were lots of messages like that, and each and every single one of them touched me. All of a sudden, I remembered a conversation I'd had with a Yunho fan last night. I asked her why she loved Yunho so much and whether it was hard or tiresome for her. She replied 'I do get tired, of course I get tired, I get tired, bitter and angry. He really is a a fool, but there's really nothing we can do, we'll stay by his side and help him through the hard times because compared to everything he's been through, our suffering and our exhaustion is nothing.' After last night, I suddenly had a newfound love for these noona fans, I really really like them, they're definitely the most lovable fans I've ever seen.

Thinking about how good the oppas are to our SHINee and how nice the Cassiopeia noonas are to us, I really hope that one day, SHINee World will become just like Cassiopeia, so that our boys will be proud of us as well.

'Hello everyone, we are Dong Bang Shin Ki'
'Hello everyone, we are Cassiopeia'

This was the first time I've personally heard the exchange between TVXQ and their Cassiopeia and I was truly touched. I hope SHINee World and our boys will be able to achieve the same kind of perfect connection one day. I know we're not far from it…

on a lighter note, there was an article about k-pop going global in TIME magazine! how cool is that?!

yang seung ho is one of my favorite korean actors. not only cuz he's young and cute and i really liked him in God of Study, but because he's a really good actor and he's really kind. he made a song with IU for charity; it's really good. it's called I Believe in Love.

and here's some pics of him from a recent magazine. he's so cute! :3

so i finally caught up on the latest khuntoria episodes on We Got Married. oh my god, they're so cute! and totally funny! whenever khun does something wrong, he'll act super cute and funny to make victoria laugh, and it's so ADORABLE. khun is so jealous, i was laughing my pants off XD

you gotta love the 2PM boys' sense of humor. they all tweeted these pics of the other missing members on their twitter and the last pic was the most hilarious.

at first, taec and junsu were missing. then khun, chansung, and juhno.
lol, that last pic said something like, "wooyoung should take off his clothes, too" XD

talk later, hafta go now~

i did it again!

i bought more books yesterday! ;-;

this looks really cool. i'd like to try to do this if i ever had enough books, lol :P

but seriously, there was such a HUGE SALE over at BookCloseOuts. like, all of the kids books [they stick the young adult books in that category, too, for some reason] were $.99 each! so i bought some books from that section that sounded interesting and had great reviews and a few other books that cost less than $5.

added all together with shipping and handling, i bought 7 books for only $24. i think that's a great deal XD even tho i highly doubt that i'll even have time to read any of them this year if what happened during last week is any example :/

you see, this last week, i had a whole bunch of tests and quizzes to study for that i didn't have any time to do anything but study. altho i did procrastinate in between studying which was looking at stuff online that i wanted to buy [but i didn't! *is proud* XD]. but yeah, i had basically no time to read or watch anything.

for AP bio, i had my first test on the first 5 chapters last thursday. mrs. edger told us that mrs. moleyson told her that most people failed the test. yeah, that was really encouraging.

luckily, we had an unexpected fire drill during that period, so we didn't have to take the test until the next day! unfortunately, we had to take the essay part of the test during our remaining class period instead, which i totally bombed since i didn't study any of what the question was about very much cuz i thought that the question would be on some of the later chapters instead.

and now i have a US test on tuesday with around 7-8 pages of notes to study and memorize dates, names, founders, and other stuff. joy -__-

anyway, only two books have come in so far. the stuff that i ordered directly from amazon said that the estimated delivery date was going to be on tuesday, so i can't wait for that. like i said in the last post, i'll take a pic of all the books when all of them finally arrive, which should be by the end of this week! i'm excluding the package of books that i just bought yesterday, tho.

i just remembered that i ordered some dvds off of ebay. i've been really wanting to get the All About DBSK Season 3 DVDs and the Super Junior Boys in the City Season 3 Hong Kong photo book but they're both super expensive [around $50-70], so i've been searching through ebay for some cheaper prices, but they're all around the same price!

but i found some other sellers who sell old concert dvds and stuff that i also want to buy, and i ran across this person called spade_ace_entertainment who sells extremely cheap concert dvds and stuff. but i think they're bootlegged -why else are they so cheap?- but not only because of that, but because the covers look different from what the official covers look like.

but i still wanted to see how they were, so i bought a Big Bang concert dvd that had english subtitles and g-dragon's concert dvd that also had english subtitles [if it's not crappy, i'm gonna give it to krista for christmas or something] just to see how good the quality is.

they're from the US, so it shouldn't take as long for the dvds to come in compared to the other sellers from South Korea and Hong Kong. all of the reviews for this person said were praises, so maybe they are the real deal...?

shelle finally came home on thursday. she actually came back from cali on tuesday, but she stayed at grandma's house for a while before daddy had a stroke and mommy wanted her to come home.

on tuesday night, mommy called daddy, who was still out going to the chicken house, and she could barely hear his voice on the phone, so she thought that he was sick so she left with brian to go check up on him. after, i think, running around trying to find each other [daddy was on his way to the chicken house], mommy finally found him and it turned out that he had a stroke.

it started when he was at the bank earlier in the day. by the time he left, he could barely say anything. and then, when he was at the gas station, daddy realized that he couldn't use his right arm. that's why mommy was really scared since he couldn't use one of his arms driving home, and the right side of his mouth was frozen.

mommy took him to the doctor the next day, and they said that daddy was okay. when i came home, he was sleeping on the coach looking fine, but he left to go back to the chicken house while brian and i were eating dinner; i think it was too early for him to go back to work...

but either way, i had a really crappy day that wednesday. mommy told me that i couldn't tell any of my friends about it [i don't really know why either], so i felt all sad in the morning and then i had a whole bunch of stuff to do at school and lunch was really lame and i think that i didn't get that much sleep that night either, and yeah...just a bad day in general.

last night, shelle and i went to wally world to get some stuff that we needed. we bought a bike pump cuz the bikes wouldn't fit in the car so we couldn't go to a gas station and pump the wheels up there, some face wash and headbands, shampoo, a wall calender, some cereal, and a LOT of pills.

shelle had gotten in the habit of taking these fish pills from Lil in california, so she wanted to get some for herself since they're healthy and stuff. and i wanted to get these vitamin gummy bears for adults that sydney had talked about since i don't get enough nutrients in the first place [and i like gummy bears ^^V]. in the end, tho, i got the pill versions for adults since shelle was going to take them, too, and it was cheaper.

one thing i'd like to complain about before going on with the story/explanation: why do we [shelle and i, the children in the family] have to buy groceries and stuff that our parents should be getting for us? i mean, at home, there is NOTHING to eat; no bread, no milk, no juice, only a bunch of chips.

this was all summer. if i wanted to get something to eat -that we should have at home already- i had to use my own money to buy it, only for the rest of the family to eat it too. it freaking infuriates me. i mean, parents should be at home more or at least realize that there's nothing to eat at home. they should be the ones buying food and other necessities in the first place like they said they would!

when i was younger, my parents told shelle and i that they would buy our school supplies and stuff, but if we wanted anything else, we'd have to buy it with our own money. that was fine with us since we only bought books and cds back then. but now, it seems like we have to buy everything.

argh, it just pisses me off. they're always telling us to save our money, but look where it's all going! buying things that they should be getting for us!

anyway, back to the pills. so yeah, in the end, we stood in the pill aisle for some time, looking at other healthy pills and deciding on if we should get them too. by the time we left to go to pay, we had 4 different types of pills.

when we got home, we had to get different bags and label them breakfast, lunch, and dinner and put the according pills in them so we'd know which ones to take at which meal since some pills had to be taken 3 times a day while some only had to be taken once.

so now i'm a pill popper XD

now to kpop! be prepared for an onslaught of pictures! [when have i not had alot of pics to share lately, lol]

but before i start on the pics, i finally watched Taeyang's I'll Be There music video, and it is hot. and i love how there's this zombie-ish feel to it XD

and now to the pics :D

first off, i would just like to say that i would KILL to be able to go to a SMTOWN concert. especially now that i've seen all of these pics that are making me squeal and fangirl like crazy. gotta love those maknes XD

oh my god, the kyumin was killing me! especially when i saw these pics! poor changminnie, i bet that hurt. but it gets better XD
kyunnie hugged it all better ^w^

gotta love all of that SM love XD

what made me sad was that while yuhno and changmin were doing SMTOWN, jaejoong, junsu, and yoochun were in japan doing A-Nation. they should be together as one.

but i think both groups were doing okay. they all looked like they were having fun.

and JYJ promoting their items at a-nation. jae looks adorable like always XD

next up is BEAST looking awesome for some magazine photoshoot. all guys should wear wife beaters XP

here's a few pics of nickhun from a magazine...there's so many magazine photoshoots lately!

and here's some of changminnie in magazines, too.

oh man, i cracked up when i saw these pics. say hello to Lady Heehee and Shinyonce.
i so wish that i could go to their concert, too.

and last but not least is Big Bang! these are some pics of them endorsing FILA. they're so cute!

and that's all folks!

laters~
